When it comes to the 'gammon' term, does it only apply to older white men that voted to leave in the EU referendum, or does it apply to all older white men irrespective of nationality or voting preference?

Happen to be currently having a separate discussion on the term and the question has arose.

Sunderland to London on foot, in 2 days? This reminds me of Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, the movie. In which Our Hero, played by the bizarrely accented Kevin Costner, lands at Dover and gets to Nottingham before lunch.

Ah, Nige. Everything you do, you do it for us. Keep on past London, and when you get to Beachy Head, don't stop.
Don't forget our Kevin went via Hadrian's Wall to get to Nottingham.

(it's not 2 days. It's about 13 I think. He'll be knackered.)
He'd be knackered after two.

Hours.

£50 gets you 2 days marching. If you want the full patriot package (14 days) you have to pay more.

Please tell me it's called the Patriot Package. Please tell me it's called the Patriot Package. laugh

Mind Sunnerlun through Hendon, onto Seaham and Hartlepool via Peterlee, then to Boro and Colby Newham via Seal Sands and South Bank is about as feckin horrific as it is possible to get in England.

Swainby's nice though smile

Except he got it wrong, the Daily Mail has been pro remain for six months or more. Their change of stance occurred when a new editor sat in the chair.

Are there any other meaningless tropes you'd like to spit out that don't appear to have any to do with the subject at hand?

The FAQ page is interesting: https://www.marchtoleave.com/faq
It seems one is required to sign up even if joining the march & electing the poverty non-paying option. What if one just happened to be walking the dog at the same time/place as the march?

Looking at the route, it finishes on 29th March...

Presumably we'll know by the time it starts whether we're leaving on that day, or whether an extension will be put in place, so it all seems a rather pointless affair.
