You got what you wanted. To feel significant in your tiny lives for a moment and I'm sure the 'victory' of 2016 felt amazing for you but the crushing reality is that you don't really matter as evidenced by the farce that has been the last three years.

At this point Brexit doesn't really matter at all to anyone, it's just lost in the noise around it. You got your voices heard, you were never going to get them acted upon, surely you've gotta realise that by now. No matter if we leave or stay it won't be what you actually wanted but you've made a whole bunch of people miserable in the process throughout this country and abroad and Britain is a joke.

You are seriously wrong there. We are leaving and that's exactly what I wanted.

People will always be miserable when they don't get what they wanted - Remainers just seem to have more temper tantrums than a 3 year old.

No not me in fact even more engaged , and despite everything but the kitchen sink being thrown at stopping Brexit by the gravy train riders , big business and crony capitalists we little people are still in a good position to leave a corrupt and intransigent self serving bureaucracy ,

Its going to be fun watching the EU Parliament ratify these choices.

There are 28 member states, no representation from the newer members in the east isnt going to go down well.

Choosing a convicted criminal gravy train rider for the most important role in the future economics of the EU is just mind blowing.

How can the remainers on here not see how bad that looks, ignoring the fact she has a woeful track record in getting things wrong.

They probably have a right to be. Those who voted to leave consist of employed and unemployed. Employed Leavers probably voted because they were 100% confident about the future of their jobs or business. Unemployed Leavers, who are statistically a very small proportion of the population, may have voted because, in part, leaving would improve their prospects. Those who wanted to maintain the status quo, at least some of them are now fearful about their jobs and businesses. The EU is not a static organisation, it is an anti-democratic construct which is reducing the democratic control the people of Europe have over their ruling classes.

You have to be completely blinkered to not see whats going on right now, with the rise of the Anti-EU parties across Europe whilst the gravy train riders carve up the power.

They just took the piss again yesterday, proposing a convicted financial criminal as head of the ECB and a rabid federalist German as head of the commision.

Politics in Europe are going to get very messy when the next recession hits.
