One Lib Dem (which didn't have their logo on it anywhere)
One Labour
Two Conservative - one addressed individually to each resident.
In a safe Tory seat where there's zero chance of anyone else getting in, despite him being a self serving, attention seeking waste of space who has done nothing for the area in the 9 years he's held the seat. Still doesn't even live in his constituency.

That's the situation where I am. The chap will appear on TV, on radio, but hardly ever in the constituency. If you go to his surgery, he'll tell you who is responsible for your problem. Never, ever him. One Labour

Three years ago, a woman complained to him about the closing of a well-used community hall. It was bright, cheerful right up until the normal clientele arrived; all old 'uns. He said that there were plenty of other halls around that could be used. He was asked to name one. She's still waiting for his reply.
However, the libdems have been pushing lately and I think the tories feel under threat. Our bloke was removed by Johnson and the current campaign by the tories has been desultory at best, and I haven't seen their best much. If the replacement (I don't think I've even seen his name around town) gets voted in, which is likely, it might well be with a reduced majority and that might garner some effort from him.
One can hope.
I walked in for a coffee this morning. Five libdem posters in gardens, none for the tories and one for labour in a cafe window.
One rather ironic libdem poster, and a big one, is in the field of a local farmer. For the referendum he put up a whole series of 'vote leave' posters to catch the drivers waiting at a roundabout. He hosted a sort of drop in at the time, with free stuff. Now it's all libdem.
See Jo Swinson thread!
We've never had so much paraphernalia from one party (thought it was bad from the Lib-Dums in 2017) but they've surpassed themselves this time here (and everywhere else it seems).
They even profiled every voter apparently, not that it's done them any good (re polls).

We also have had two personal phone calls from them, one to me, one to the wife (caller wish she hadn't I bet!) plus two canvassers so far, last one Friday evening. No door canvassing (yet) from any other party.
My wife answered the door this time. You can guess who is saying what!
'I'm canvassing on behalf of the Liberal-Dem..'
'Sorry, you're wasting your time.'
'Oh, why is that?'
'We won't be voting Lib-Dem.'
'Can I ask why?'
'Yes. One you're no longer Liberal. Two, you're no longer Democratic.'
'Who will you be voting for, if I may ask?'
'Sorry, I'd rather not say, but you can guess I suppose.'
'Can I leave you some information, just in case.'
'DAN! Can you pop down please.'
I come downstairs.
'It's someone from the Lib-Dems. Can you show the chap 'the post' -
I got the message.
Showed the guy what we'd received to date and mentioned the direct phone calls etc
(the post will all be going back, unstamped, to LDHQ on the 12th).
He actually seemed shocked: 'Oh... oookkkaay.'
I then added: 'Oh and so far we have had two small Labour leaflets and two Tory ones, that's it.
I think you've won this competition outright!'
'Okay. Thanks for your time.'
He then walked off chuckling, probably realising those at the top of his party have blown this big time.

To be fair, with widespread "left is for nice people, right is nasty people" simplistic propaganda about and bought into by so many, I'd be far more concerned about the possible consequences of displaying a conservative poster than a lib/lab one, if I was of a mindset that felt minded to parade my support. In fact its something one might do to someone one didn't like, particularly in the right area. (So much for the nice/nasty split eh?)
The frenchies over the road have libdem lollipops in their front garden, I do wonder how aware they are that any support they could muster for the party will probably favour the conservative canditate, judging by the constituencies voting history patterns?

I'm not sure it proves anything other than that Johnson's bandwagon jumping might have cost him a few votes in my constituency. I doubt it will make much difference but if it occurs in one that is more borderline, it might. To be fair, with widespread "left is for nice people, right is nasty people" simplistic propaganda about and bought into by so many, I'd be far more concerned about the possible consequences of displaying a conservative poster than a lib/lab one, if I was of a mindset that felt minded to parade my support. That's all.
I would point out, or repeat actually, that they also criticised Corbyn, so your reaction of who is nice/nasty is not so much simplistic as not based on what I posted.
Johnson has been tightly managed for this campaign, and probably for understandable reasons. He's opened his mouth over this.

One Conservative pamphlet (which was fairly decent focusing on the MPs record and local issues), one Labour and one Green.
This probably isn't natural Lib Dem territory though.
Our Tory MPs leaflet is full of his promises for the future (better broadband, reduce the amount of new builds, etc). Same thing he's been promising for the 9 years he's held the seat and has done nothing about so far. This probably isn't natural Lib Dem territory though.
Seen a letter from him to another resident confirming he can't do anything about improving broadband because that's a county level scheme and he can't get involved in that.
Had meetings with him about housing and all he did was get his photo in the paper and promise to write to the relevant minister (which he failed to do).

I have already mentioned on another thread that the amount of Lib Dem postal spam I have received has been utterly ridiculous. Its been on average one flyer per day and on one occasion three different pieces!
Where are they getting the money for this?
Well as there the only pro remain party , maybe the E.U ?Where are they getting the money for this?
Isn't there sort of rule though where the candidates fee gets them a postal delivery to every address ? Is there anything else to limit howmuch they can spend campaigning ?

No Lib Dem’s round our way as they’ve stood down to leave the remoaner vote to Anna Sourby.
But she’s been sending no end of crap through the door, leaflets, flyers, fake newspapers and two personally addressed letters... wonder how she affords it all?
That sounds exactly like the Lib Dem promotional material plan to me. Even down to the same number of addressed letters I’ve had. I do hope the Lib Dem’s aren’t sharing election resources with an independent candidate on the quiet because that would be in breach of electoral expenses regulations. But she’s been sending no end of crap through the door, leaflets, flyers, fake newspapers and two personally addressed letters... wonder how she affords it all?
Wouldn’t it?
