wonder if Javid will respond or would have to off payrole issues heading this way in april 13% more in NI but a loss of 20% VAT...maths might not have been his strong point

I agree. I think it is a mistake from Javid and very unfortunate, because I genuinely rated the guy.
I doubt that, Javid knows whats going on & as i said far from Javid kicking his adivsors out its Boris who should be reconsidering Cummings position!
At least you were right about the cat...

Apparently there is going to be a joint operation of special advisers for No 10 and the Treasury. Wonder who is going to head that up......
Will have to be Larry.

I wonder if it hasn’t been planned: Javid was hardly going to allow his advisors to be sacked especially after Cummings got shot of his spad last year.
Rishi Sunak offered the job straight away.
Hit job?

Javid proves to be a man of principle

Boris fuels the fire for those claims that he’s a puppet

It’s not a good look

It’s going to be interesting to see who takes up the new roles.

Believe it or not Cameron is lobbying Boris behind the scenes for a role.

When are we taking back control from the unelected special advisers again?

hmmm, I wasn't expecting Javid to go. I don't think Boris was either

Sunak has the financial background, but he is not a political heavyweight and, I am not sure he ever will be

Incidentally rather annoyingly there is a speaker blaring out ‘mad world’ into Downing st.

Take his advisors away and expect him to stay? Maybe they wanted him to resign rather than sack him?

Yes but he wants a role in government apparently as opposed to representing govt/the UK.

Javid resigns on point of principle rather than political direction.

Boris probably knew he wouldn't tolerate no. 10 selecting the advisors so forcing his hand.

Oh, I see where you're struggling. Google Acquis Communautaire wink

Then Google "Primacy of EU law"

You're now informed. You're welcome! Then you can explain how the logic applies to special advisors biggrin
