Cure still worse than the disease.
It's becoming increasingly obvious that this is the case.

Moreover the govt's handling is not getting better, its getting worse as evidenced by the New Mutant Virus and the even more deadly Afrikaans Mutant Virus. Talk about muppetry of the highest order. And then their reactioon to the problems created by their own announcement.

I cannot help feeling that when Cummings left, despite his many detractors, the adult left the building.

If Cummings was the adult, then we really are fked.

Perhaps not, but we are all adults here, at least I thought. I don’t think it’s the swearing I was banned for, more the insulting someone directly. Anyway, not worth dwelling, it is what it is.

Good to be back.

Just to confirm the JHB interview with Tobias Elwood has not been removed as suggested by some posters.

The individual one has but the day’s radio show has not and he’s still very much there making a tt of himself.

Good to have you back.

Bet you thought you were getting a nice Merry Christmas email from the PH mods, bless them, I think they're getting a bit stressed over all the comments being made... oh my gawd, markyb_lcy is back, what did we do!

Anyway Merry Christmas to you and wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year, though looking at my dwindling bank account could do with some of the 'prosperous' bit.

Thanks, Rich, for very your kind words mate! I don’t envy those mods to be fair.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

This year just keeps on giving! Another new, new, new strain.

The Just new strain is going to peak in Spring 2021 in South East and Summer 2021 in the North.

Deaths higher than this year even with new measures.

Tiers won’t be enough

Need more draconian measures

Well, 2021 is done for, look forward to 2022

Can anyone please read the following and explain why the number of deaths from Covid according to this official document during week 51 is only 50 confused

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/governmen...

The page concerned is page 14, image below:

I’m sure I’m being a bit thick but I don’t understand the document.

BG did predict the future a week ago by informing us that 2022 mid to late would be a possible release date for SOME measures..

Had work to do in Dursley in Gloucester today, so up early abs down the M5 motorway, to be greeted once again by , and i am not exaggerating here, more than 50% of the single occupant cars where the driver is wearing a mask, despite being on his or her own!

Can someone please please explain their logic behind that choice?
What time did you get out on the road?

2nd bullet point - There's no proof... which, in fairness, is a bit more direct than 'just a scenario'.

And if it scares people into not meeting up with friends and families during the holidays, it'll be mission accomplished for the Horsemen.

Yep, notice how the headline capitalises MORE deaths, MORE than the 70k in the first wave! Absolute doom porn, it’s sickening to watch the country go to rata and see stories like this.

Even WITH lockdowns we need to vaccinate 2 MILLION per week.

I doubt it. Most sensible people are now used to it and will just moan and groan before settling back into it. I've never met anyone including care home residents who's scared half to death. "Concerned" might be a better description.
