Had never heard of TRIC before this. I don't see the relevance of it being a public vote. Does it make it more prestigious or not?

(If you guy's have got the popcorn out I may as well give you a reason)
Some may say it more accurately reflects what joe public actually watches rather than what the industry itself votes for.
I think you'll find it's viewing figures that reflect what 'joe public' watches, not an easily stuffed online vote.

Give GBNews their due though, they've worked the system, but it doesn't really reflect quality or their position in the news world.

or it accurately reflect who has done the best "vote for me" campaign.
Some may also say that, as with any vote

His speech. Gets a bit rowdy. The speech was little unfairly clipped this morning on ITV; to him saying to the crowd "I feel sorry for all of you"
Sour grapes between rival broadcasters?? I dont believe it!

I always thinks these types of awards are given out on "The Buggin's Turn" principle.

Best you find a quiet corner to go off and weep in.

Farage was good on LBC in so much as he's actually listenable and a good presenter.

Must admit I'm surprised GB News seems to have lasted as long as it has but there's obviously an audience there.
I’m surprised the older mainstream news channels have survived now there is a channel that doesn’t constantly spout left wing , climate wang, and anti British drivel ..

I reckon they probably deserve it, it's been the biggest change to UK TV news for some time. But it's the reactions that really make it. hehe

Is it a bit like asking Fox "News", OAN etc viewers which TV channel they prefer?
