Just back from a funeral of a great man. Chairman of my company, 81 years old, worked right up until a couple of months back (even though he knew he had cancer). If anyone deserved tv cameras it was him.

Such a sad loss.

The sooner today is over the better, then this goody crap will be over and done with.

You are joking aren't you? When the statue is put up, we will have this once a year on her anniversary. SKY news will broadcast live coverage of the mourners laying 'reefs', and we will all be urged to have a minutes gobbiness.
that'll be the anniversary formerly known as 'Mothers Day' then? Got to hand it to her, she timed that well didn't she? Dying on Mothers Day and thus ensuring she's remembered as the 'ultimate' (chav) mother

I couldn't stand the vile, vacuous bint.

One of the benefits of being out of the UK right now, and for long periods, is missing trash like this.

Just shows you the level to which the UK has actually sunk. The scum are dictating the running of the place.

and yet just two years ago the country hated her. fking hypocrites.

This country is a mess, why the public like to wallow in self pity and feign grief over any tom, dick and harry beats me.

the inmates have truly taken over the asylum.

Why do I get the feeling a lot of people want this to be the Princess Di funeral, for chavs.

Complete with a remixed happy hardcore version of Elton's classic "Kebab in the wind".

Jack Tweeds poem was briliant, he didnt know the words and read breathe instead of breath.

I live up the road from Chartwell house, where Sir Winston Churchill lived. To me a good British pint and pub, Spitfires wheeling over Kent and Sir Winston sums up the best of Britain.

I'm very sad that Jade Goody now seems to sum up the best of Britain for UK people today.

I guess I am out of touch.

No but it was made of white melamine with white plastic handles, and looked like it was made out of a cheap recycled MFI bedside cupboard. Rather like Jensen Button's Brawn GP car, plain white and ready for the sponsor's logos.

just goes to show news tv is nonsense....entertainment today it should be called or bbc nonsense 24...innocent people could be being slaughtered around the world and the top story would be a celebrity going for a run...gordon brown is bankrupting out country and the top story is the funeral of an essex girl...

i said something bad about this corpse to a friend in the shops yesterday and about a 1.5/10 milf came up to me and said she had a right mind to slap round the chops and i was a young lout whatever that is and she hoped the bottle of gordons was my last or something she might have been more drunk than me....
