I just know I'm going to regret asking this, but why do you feel that way? I mean, TV signals are just radio waves, and you're not, presumably, questioning whether radio can travel that far?

Thought the Japanese had taken some photos of the landing site.

Which is why I'm interested in this, as I'm considering this as the first public live streaming video.
They did. So there.

That link doesn't actually show any details. So pretty pointless.

I am waiting to see the actual technology used to send the signal that clear back to earth. I await to be proved wrong, but no one has ever produced anything for me.

As I say I want to know technical details before I believe, nothing wrong with that. The writings of a moon hoax debunking website would not be my first port of call.

Presumeably the fact that the 2 voyager spacecraft, which are from the moon landings era, are still transmitting radio back to earth from the egde of the solar system is not enough to convince you that the technology to transmit live radio from the moon was available. Even if you can't find the exact details on what equipment they used and how.

Of course I know radio waves can travel that far.
So what part of the technology do you not understand? Assuming you agree that there was a system of radio broadcast sufficiently powerful to allow 2-way communication between the Earth and the Moon, what's stopping TV signals using the same route? The Apollo 11 TV camera was very low quality black and white, but by the time of Apollo 13 they made live colour (IIRC) broadcasts from inside the CSM on its way to the moon. If anything the technical limitations were around making cameras small, light and robust enough to survive the trip - getting the pictures back to Earth was easy in comparison.

I'm not being arsey here, I just honestly don't understand where you see the problem... smile

Ditto.

There is enough in those links from Parkes and Honeysuckle to get you started.
