Sorry, I actually thought it was quite a good advert, it wasn't too preachy in my opinion.

I know PHers in general believe that climate change and greenhouse gas science is just a conspiracy aimed at getting their TVRs off the road but even if it is, fossil fuels are still running out and the less we use making boring old electricity the more is available for blasting about in our classic Dodge Hemis drivingcloud9
It wasn't too preachy? Seriously?
Well no, maybe I'm a bit more immune to preachiness than some people and am able to see both sides of an argument. If you have problems with people presenting a viewpoint without regarding that as preachiness then I'm sorry.
I have a problem when one side is government funded with a notsohidden agenda attached to it.
That's the same with just about every campaign our current bunch of tw@ts have implemented. eg. Nu Labia says 24 hour pub opening is good, then get all surprised when people use the pubs all the time and, shock horror, get drunk! Then start multiple campaigns to try and back track. Do you really think it's coincidence the number of TV companies producing CCTV Drunks Gone wild shows?

And when we finally run out of fossil fuels man is clever enough to invent an alternative.
Precisely - there's loads of work going on into this right now. Besides, there's big money involved in this all over the world. I suspect the alternatives will make an appearance when its financially suitable to do so... And our little island isn't the biggest market for it, so we'll have to wait until the big players start using the alternatives. And get persecuted for it in the meantime. bd greenies.

Rraaaaaaaaaarrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

rantingrantingranting

That's the first time I've seen that. I am fking furious. Everyone responsible for that advert should be set on fire, and I include the actors in that for agreeing to voice this absoluite cowpat of an advert.

This steaming pile of horse manure has been designed and paid for with my bding money that Her Majesty's colection of wemongers and thieves remove from me every month.

Is there a happy ending? Maybe, for me, but only if you go and kill yourselves and stop mincing around with such utter bks.

Off to turn the heating on.

It's interesting that articles now say "assuming warming happens" etc. etc. whereas my recollection is that before, articles would say "we're doomed, it's going to get hot"....
