Excellent.

This was the smug b'stard who got off sending race hate emails within the Met on a technicality. Someone was sending hate mail to a number of pakistani Met officers, and an internal investigation got it down to two people.

Him, and some woman. He was interviewed, but she never was.

When it got to the employment tribunal, it was seen as unfair that she wasn't ever interviewed over the issue, and some how that was unfair to Ali. So he got reinstated and got compensation.

Reason she wasn't interviewed - she was in hospital giving birth at the time her computer in the office was being used! They never thought to interview for obvious reasons!!

... and in your professional opinion, he'll be beaten up and raped how many times in that four* years?

Will he have to pay back that £80k now as well?

Oli.

- * - Won't be four years in practice, of course. There will be an appeal and even if that fails, he'll do two and then out for 'good behaviour' / on licence / with a tracking device, to spend the days in his own lounge watching Tricia.

He'll be out in two.

Two years is a long time in prison for a senior copper.

Most Met officers I've spoken with seem to think this has been a long time coming.

I'm afraid that it's chodpieces like Ali who make life difficult for officers who really do suffer discrimination.

He'll have to do the whole lot in solitary.

I doubt he'll keep his pension now. Which is nice.

There's more

"Dizaei faces further disciplinary charges involving his links to lawyers defending a hit-and-run driver in South Kensington.

He is accused of advising Georgian embassy official Natela Grinina on how to handle police enquiries and the prosecution. She was later sentenced to 10 years in her absence for causing the death of a cyclist."

Ten years for killing a cyclist?

I didn't think that people ever got more than 3 or 4 years for somehow causing death on the highway.

Serves him right. May he enjoy a warm welcome by the inmates of her Majesty's Prison.

Course he has. This wasn't the first time he's abused his position of power. Chances are that there will be various plumbers, electricians, restaurant owners and all sorts coming out about how they were intimidated into giving discounts.

Remember that on Crimewatch.

She is now in Russia as a judge let her go home to Russia to see her terminally ill dad. And guess what? Russia refuses to extradite their own citizens...

She ran over a cyclist in a hit and run which took the police months to track her down for.

Upon realising she was going to get sent down, she then did a runner back to Moscow on bail.

She returned to the UK eventually and was tracked down and, IINM, arrested.

She then did another runner back to Russia where she remains on the run.

Hence the high sentence..
