Are these letters that you got from Act On CO2, or from the advertising watchdog or some other "independant" firm?
Plus, stuff what they say, print it out on here? smile
They are from ASA, but the Final Adjudication seems to have come from DECC, unless I am reading the top of the adjudication wrong?
Thanks speedchick, it's a very worrying sign of the times that even the ASA cannot maintain its independance. frown
Considering who the ASA's top man is, it's hardly surprising they agreed with the government spin machine, is it?

I've had a reply today, apparently the actual spiel wont be released to the press until March 17th.
Those who get the letter are asked to keep the actual content confidential until then.
This is the absolute worst case I have ever seen on here of "I know something you don't know, I know something you don't know, nah nah nah nah"

Just post it up.

Post it up? the covering letter is 2 sheets of A4 and the adjuication is 13 sides of A4, not sure my poor scanner can cope with that much, and if I started typing it, by the time I finished and got all the jargon the right way round, it'll be released anyway!

They weren't "considering the environment" when they printed that lot were they?! laugh Hopefully Delingpole would have been one of the original complainers anyway.

Nope, and given that they have sent it out 939 times, along with all the ink and the postage costs! not a cheap complaint for them!

I got two sent to me for some reason. The result is hardly surprising, although the main issue, ie it being a politically biased advert, is still unresolved and is being dealt with by Ofcom.

Won't somebody please think of the children?!

Father reading daughter a fairy tale - sounds fine to me. Surely everyone knows that fairy tales are fictional or at the very least have only a tiny nugget of truth in them.

You do realise they are greener than labour don't you?

one was on the other day on Radio 4 (willets) talking about helping young people and the second thing he said he would do to help them was " well of course we need to reduce carbon so they can have a future at all"

Call me dave has a bloody wind generator on his roof doing fk all. They all toe the party line. Green is good.
