I was just dashing around Waitrose, came out and was looking at a very nice Audi R8 (this is PH) when a helicopter could be heard coming over. I managed to get out of Waitrose as the police converged on the area. If I have a look at my Waitrose receipt the road was still open at 13:51.

My first thoughts were Colin Montgomerie clubbing his caddy to death for losing his ball.

Going to be great fun getting home..

Spoke to a mate (a copper) and it was a kidnapping gone wrong, in his words "big boy stuff".

Sunningdale?

'Property Developer' gone mad?

Mortgage broker doesnt want to declare himself bankrupt?

Something like that would be my guess

I dont think they have 'regular' criminals in that part of the world, just the kind that rather kill than be seen as failures.

It can't be a local criminal as they wouldn't be daft enough to make their getaway across the level crossing. Would they??

Good eyewitness account on Radio 5

White van pulled over by police

Four occupants leg it

Wrestled to the ground by armed police - no shots fired

Body discovered in back of white van partly enclosed in a cement bag

What's the betting that Terry Wogan is behind all this. Him, or Ronnie Corbett.

Brucie is in on it as well.
It seems that the dead man has been identified by the BBC as Clive Anderson!

AFAIK Ronnie Corbett lives in Addington in Surrey, near Croydon - so more stabbings and road rage.
He definitely used to, think the little fella is in Scotland now though.

Breaking news apparently - bodies in the street, a number of arrests, no other detail. Sounds serious. Anyone seen/heard any more?

How surreal to get home from 3 days in Paris, and find your house all over the news eek

All the news teams are outside, along with tons of BiBs, SoCOs, etc.

And they are transmitting live feeds .... I keep turning the lights on and off paperbag
