I know Haymarket are just protecting themselves from legal problems (and thats understandable) and I'll refrain from the P word. But jesus h christ, I'm sick of everyone being offended, and especially the good honest travelling folk (because they absolutely are of course) claiming that they are a different racial group and the P word is somehow racist, don't make me laugh, they're Irish. If you talk to any of them, and I have (met through friends of friends and not by choice) you'd soon realise.

The fact the powers that be accomadate their tax evading and thievery (all alledgedly of course) and (around here at least) the police (thames valley police farce) seem frightened of dealing with them in any way, is scandelous.

My parents had the good honest travelling folk koncking on their door trying to sell them a new driveway (youd think after all these years they'd know how much tarmac to steal buy in the first place wouldn't you) and while they were there, trying to get a good look inside the house and the cars by attempting to trick my mother into looking at the roof! Fortunately shes made of sterner stuff than that, and I was there with the dog, who's not small. Utter scum. Were the police interested at this scandelously obvious casing of their home? not a bit. In case you think I'm being unfairly judgemental, Ive had a car stolen by them, and my parents had their house broken into by them. Good honest travelling folk were identified in both cases, but, strangely, although they knew who'd done it, nothing was done. I hate them.

Well I had a two pint kid in a yellow jacket knock on my door in the past few days telling me his dad had overestimated the job up the road and they has just enough blocks to do my garden, my front garden is 40 foot long. That must be some over estimate.

You do realise the majority of these travellers can't read or write and therefore are not the sharpest knives in the draw?

There's a vast difference between true Romanis and the good honest travelling folk. Ie, the good honest travelling folk are basically Irish tinkers. I used to work for a woman who was a real Romani, really lovely lady and I have to say, her opinions about the good honest travelling folk made a lot of those on here including mine, seem pretty calm. I don't know whether they were just her opinions though or those of the wider Romani community, I never asked her.

My nephew had a part-time job as a teenager working for a fine, upstanding traveller who dealt in unwanted (the owners had left it unattended so clearly didn't want it) 'scrap' metal. He reckons it gave him some of the finest insights into the clientele in his chosen career. He's a copper.

One nicks your luggage at a station in France, and one sells you a dodgy driveway?

About five years ago someone I know (who was 12) was taken back to a 'gypsy' site by someone she thought was her friend (who was 14). There she was plied with alcohol and then one of these 'honest decent travellers' forced himself (he was 19) on her. She told him no, he didn't care and raped her.

When this girl told her mother the next day what had happened and the police arrived, they said (verbatim) "You're lucky she even came back, often what goes on that site doesn't come back". Those were the words of the police officer!

That 'honest decent gypsy' got three years in prison and 10 years on the sex offenders register.

It later transpired that the 14 year old girl who took her there had done this numerous times. Apparently she would groom 'non traveller' girls and take them back to the site where they'd get raped. Despite having details of at least two other girls this had happened to, the parents of those girls didn't want to persue it because they were afraid of repurcussions! (which makes them as much scum as the 'travellers' in my eyes).

Still, so long as we don't 'offend' them by using the 'P' word, eh?!

Surely not, because they have such respect for their women folk and despise the gorger's immoral attitude to sex. Else they're also compulsive liars yes

so has been censored completely now?

Unbelievable. Utterly unbelievable.

I see we're still allowed to discriminate without mercy any tracksuit wearing criminal scally and call them 'chavs'.

Reminds me of that episode of South Park when they ban the words 'Gay fags' when the boys use it to describe the middle aged bikers.

Give it a few years and if like me you're a white, British, straight male you'll be the only subject allowed to be ridiculed

That's pretty much already the case isn't it? A 'traveller' can come here and freely call you a gorger with no issue. Likewise, you can refer to the feral underclass as 'chavs'. So long as you don't say anything defamatory about 'travellers'.

He could change his name to Lord Knacker.
