This seems like an ideal case for hiring a bunch of heavies to go in - not a course that I would usually advocate.
As has been said countless times before, there is always someone bigger, meaner and more crazy than you so it's amazing they haven't been 'done over' a few times already.

I really can't understand why they have not been shut down confused after all the complaints they have had.
Does the trading standards office not operate in that area then?

Nothing will happen unless a local councillor or MP takes their car there and gets ripped off, then a holy ststorm will descend on them.

A quick Google reveals the truth about these clowns, they have been around in one form or another for years. Of course, Sky News claims to have uncovered the story.
It makes you wonder if it's worth trying to make an honest living when you can simply extort money with menaces, ignore CCJs and get away with it.

The company currently trades under the following websites:
Mod note: careful of the name and shame rules - the company has been anonymous so far on this thread and it should stay that way.

Why on earth do they get any anonymity simply because they're in the motor trade? I don't see anyone having to abide the name and shame rule for every other mainstream news article that appears in this forum.

They remind of a pack of hyenas, scrabbling scum, picking the bones of their latest prey. Despicable.

Calm down everyone, it's just a new episode of The Real Hustle. Those people will get their money back in a minute followed by much laughing and comments along the lines of "I feel so stupid". hehe

Recently members of another forum took matters into their own hands.

They posted so hard about an independent BMW trader that they got to #1 in the Google listings for that name and surpassing even the rogue traders own website.
Staff from the rogue trader promptly registered and posted positive comments. The IT professionals soon spotted the IP addresses of the new members all came from the same PC as the company website.
The mods decided to let it run as the company had involved itself. Eventually it lost momentum and no the company website is back on top.

A thread was started here but deleted. Obviously I can’t name and shame them.

They share the initials of the make of car they specialise in.
Google the antonym of ‘little’ with motoring world complaints.

I live near them and was passing, so I popped in. Sure enough I found the allegations true. The price on the website is £1000 lower than that on the screen. The slimiest caricature ever to grace a forecourt assured me I had misread my PC. Could I look at the website on his PC? Sorry it was down at the moment.
Other customers had posted the same had happened to them.
No problem. I have mobile internet access. Gotcha.
The other forum is still up and doesn’t seem to have been sued.

They don't.

The name and shame rules are there for any company.

Other forums are not owned by publishers that could be seen as rich pickings for lawyers/claimants.

This is a duplicate thread to that in GG.
