People who are abused are invariably damaged. They may well do things others can never understand. I believe many abused people go on to abuse others. If that's your 'normal' it's easy to understand.
As for earlier comments, we should recognise that some people need to be protected from themselves. This was one of the problems in Rotherham. The girls, who weren't objecting, were written off as 'bad girls' and the authorities largely washed their hands of them.

There was interviews and reports in the past how girls as young as 14, being given coke and passed about among the male execs. The interview I read was based on Milan fashion week or do you not believe this goes on there as well?
