To be fair, there are huge divisions in the country; loathing Anthony Charles Lynton "Tony" Blair is probably one of the few things that draws us all together.

There are divisions, sure, but he's not the man to lecture us on it, as he is universally loathed.

Disgusting man. And his wife his just as bad.

I am delighted that Blair has intervened.

The last few Remain advocates will surely now realise the error of their ways.
Ah, alas - if only the error was ours
I'm not the one agreeing with Tony Blair...#justsaying

Its a shame that the Rev St.John Blair (middle east envoy) dosn't apply the same level of outrage and commitment to the middle east crisis that he applies to trying to subvert the will of the people here in the UK.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I see the BBC are at it again. Blairs opinion on Brexit is irrelevant, yet this story has been HEADLINE NEWS for the entire day. Why are they giving him such a huge platform?

Anyone would think the BBC want to remain.................

It gives equal coverage to Farrage - someone that I equally view, to be a moron

So - 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

Seriously, you're getting your way - why the anger?

Some of the abuse of Blair (including mine!) is probably a little harsh, but just saw this on Twitter and this response to the ultra remainer Lineker quoting the BBC article in admiration for the former PM did amuse me more than it should have! a

I am not keen on the bloke too. However he didn't send us to a war that was a lie and killed so many?

Equal coverage? You've lost me. I don't see farrage as a balancing point here and even if he was, his face and quotes haven't been pinned at the top of the BBC news site all day.

Why am I angry? Because the BBC (et al) are attempting this....

Wall to wall Farage for a whole day? When did that happen?

Because Blair, but not so much anger as devout contempt.

Does the BBC highlighting Blair as the remain headliner >really< give fuel to the embers of the remain campaign?

So Blair thinks he knows better than us about the EU.

The same Blair who was hell bent on leading us into the disastrous Euro?

The disaster that we made him avoid?

It's time this halfwit reassessed his understanding of what's best for us.

Are you just making this stuff up? The weapons inspectors only left on the eve of the invasion on the instructions of the US.

It was patently clear at the time that there was no legal justification for going to war. I was one of the million plus marchers in London. I clearly remember Hans blix objecting to the invasion at the time.
The inspectors were made to leave and hindered almost constantly. Not to mention the inspectors activities after GW1, lots of chemical weapons were found and destroyed. It was on the news for a decade. Its hard to believe no one ever mentions it with relation to GW2 as if Saddam had no form. He wanted everyone to believe he had them as it propped up his regime.

This would be a good time to start a campaign to have Bliar tried for war crimes - probably still wouldn't shut him up but worth reminding people what he is responsible for.

I don't like the man but why should any one be shut up? We still live in a democracy in case you forgot.

I slipped into a dream just now...

His Tonyness, naked and bending over...

God, I hate the sight of naked men, but the smell of burning bum on the cattle prod was even worse...

Don't think I'll dare go to sleep tonight now...

Blair and Bush Jnr are responsible for more deaths than anyone I can think of in the last 25+ years. Arguably 5-10 times as many as Saddam Hussein. He's a war criminal, found guilty of lying to us about intelligence reports. In love with the Eurocrats and the money they pay him. What's not to trust???

I had LBC on in the work van a few times today, and I honestly don't know how they're allowed to get away with it. Constant brexit bashing, constant criticism and condescension of the brexit voters, constant doom and gloom and scaremongering. Apparently we did in fact, vote brexit, because we thought all the immigrants would be gone tomorrow.

It's beyond a joke. And you can't do anything about it except to sit there and listen, knowing its just a load of bks. They have their own fking national anti-brexit outlets, with no contesting viewpoint unless they choose carefully who shall respond. And we fund this st?? WTF!
