I have lo love of Trump, but that sounds fair. They are contractors so why would they get paid if they decided not to go into work on that day?

No work no pay. Fair enough.

They weren't working though, they were told to stand around all day through their lunch break as rent a crowd for a Political rally for one of the most contensous leaders of modern times.

That seems a bit odd.

If they were offered some greasy things to bolt together I am sure the one who didn't go would have gone to work as per their normal job. The job they applied for and do.

Poor buggers put in that position.

It's Friday night, so naturally I sat in my vest and pants trawling for negative things to say about Trump.
Are you one of those 'happy to give it but can't take it' types?

The choice was to turn up, wait for him, get paid, or, don’t bother turning up, and don’t get paid.

Hardly fair.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. Shell are basically paying its staff to attend a Trump rally in order to stay on the Orange Turd’s good side. It happens in 3rd world countries all the time. Very soon we’ll have large Corporations paying staff to vote for Trump. No doubt people will complain about that as well.

I recall speaking with Iranian immigrants in Germany 20 years ago, they explained that this is exactly how pro govt protests are organised by Teheran. If you don't toe the line, expect a late night visit from security. State or big business sanctioned economic pressure is not democracy.

Not at all.
You and Tartan are obviously the type who can't read.

Look at my posts in this thread and get back to me.

Desolate, Tartan said if he got the wrong end of the stick he was wrong. He thought you were the typical "I am not a trump supporter but/ liberal tears etc". He was wrong.

You know what some bellends do here. Hit and run.

I know your other posts. You sarcasm missed with them. I got it, sure others did too.

Maybe give Tartan a pass as he doesn't normally get involved in the old tit for tat?

Hell I will end come round in my jocks and rub your back if helps.

I'm going to wager that this sort of back and forth did not happen whilst FDR was in charge sorting out the depression and then fixing WW2 easily !

He had a small dog called Fala.

Apparently Donald cannot have a small dog, like he cannot play golf, because he is too busy.

He's no FDR is he?

I need to learn how to use those smiley things.

I'd have thought the photo was a bit of a giveaway though.

FEC chair has written to trump as he's again claimed voter fraud against him.

She's asked for proof...

"Former casino operator" - ouch.

More seriously, could the FEC do anything legally to stop him repeating the claims?

There's a few reports around that the SDNY investigation into the National Enquirer / AMI / blackmail is very advanced and indictments of David Pecker may be coming soon.

Pecker of course was famous for his safe of dirt, his support of trump, especially killing stories about trump.
https://money.cnn.com/2018/04/13/media/ami-jerry-g...

We know Pecker broke his immunity deal when he tried to blackmail Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, which is also reported as being investigated by the FBI as Bezos claimed the Saudi's helped with this
https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2019/08/natio...

Lets also remember that trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in the illegal payments to Stormy Daniels, that Hope Hicks was also implicated in Peckers assistance...
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/fbi-...

There's also an unconfirmed report that Jerry George, who was providing evidence, has died after a fall.
