Current police advice is for city workers to go home.

Oh GO ON THEN...
Linky?
Ok Podie, if you're getting sent home early, can you start dinner? It's salmon in a lemon cream sauce with spaghetti, from the 5 Nights book on the windowsill.

Thanks hun smile

In boring news, Bank and Monument underground stations are now shut, however trains continue to travel through.

Rumour is that they are on their way to other RBS buildings
Just had a call from someone at RBS whom I trust. They've been told to vacate by 15:30.
Not everyone has been told this though - that must mean we're either vital or expendable scratchchin

My friend works for RBS head office. She's at home - was told not to come in at all today.

Ed - you're expendable hehe (contract, not permie, IIRC)

RBS were told not to come in. My man said about 25% of staff seemed to be in this morning.

We've just had a plod update and they say only 6000 people in total turned up (City and Grosvenor Sq Demonstrations). Not exactly the hundreds of thousands expected.

Not all of RBS was told that wink My floor is pretty much 100% attendance, although we've just been advised to leave early to avoid being beaten by an angry mob travel delays.
