I fear for the nightmare they will now face though, explaining to the DVLA why they didn't sorn their car.

Those poor poor people, away from the relative safety of the pirates and straight into the the unforgiving, machete weilding, non English speaking tyrants that is the DVLA.I fear for the nightmare they will now face though, explaining to the DVLA why they didn't sorn their car.
The poor buggers don't stand a chance

It's strange, this has been all over Sky news for the last couple of hours, it hasn't been mentioned on the BBC.
Very strange indeed, can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet, unless I've missed something.Edited by Westy Pre-Lit on Sunday 14th November 08:34
Very happy to see they have ben released safely.
But, on the flip side....if a £1million ransom was the reason for release then it's just another case of "Victory for the Pirates".
I'm starting to like the idea of becoming a pirate. Seems to pay well, and as long as you don't attack military ships, looks like Governments are all too willing to pay up rather than use force.

It's a long commute from Bucks to the sea every morning though. But, on the flip side....if a £1million ransom was the reason for release then it's just another case of "Victory for the Pirates".

Was just on Channel 4 news, their freedom is down to a Leytonstone cab driver. Also said they have been banned from reporting on the case due to an injunction taken out by their family. How odd.
Really? How mysterious. WTF is going on ?I guess whilst it is great news for the couple, the fundamental problem is the "pirates" now know they can attack in those waters...
