Interesting fact I was unaware of until yesterday.

You can't be a GP if you haven't had all of your jabs and can demonstrate that. There are other professions where that applies as well apparently.

My wife's a GP and I'm NHS, the Covid vaccine is voluntary (at least for now.)

HepB isn't, bit there's no "seroconversion proof" requirement, just jab plus booster.

Then can I point you towards LBC Radio who yesterday morning had a GP on saying that it was compulsory and also had to be demonstrable - clearly he was peddling fibs.

If it is compulsory for all NHS workers (or any) then there will be a published policy. Can you link to that?

Why are you actually in here by the way? You seem to have nothing to say about the subject matter.

As for not posting on the other threads well I came back to an inbox full of "your post has been deleted" messages so am not posting in there anymore as clearly that thread isn't what its title says it is but rather an echo chamber for conspircy theorists who report my posts. In fact this is the only Covid thread I'll post in as at least I had something to do with its inception so know what it's definitely about

I'm sorry if you think I was attacking your post. I wasn't. If you read it, I even questioned why people circulate that nonsense.

As I have said before, I'm not seeing anything from either side of the debate that has convinced me. Both sides are a cess pit of of muddy water and madness.

I did wonder why you bring things from other threads into this one though. Healthy debate is taking in viewpoints from both sides and surrounding yourself with people who simply agree with you isn't a good way to be.

I'm not sure that you should be looking on social media for the information you require to make that decision to be honest. Surely the various official sites with their Q&A sections would be more useful if that's your objective.

The Govt aren't filling everyone in the UK's veins (13.5m and counting) with some dangerous substance unless they're pretty damn sure it's both safe and efficacious backed up by the science. Let's not forget the UK are also the name behind the AZ vaccine and its being rolled out worldwide as the main vaccine in this fight. If the vaccine fails or worse is actually dangerous then this country may never recover.

Never mind ordinary passports being required some countries also want a special visa!

To that end 'proof of vaccine' documentation is entirely normal and frankly preferable if you like to travel around the world.

92% of adults say they’ve either had or would take a vaccine.

Thankfully the anti-vaxxers would appear at first glance to be having little impact.

It’s all by about understanding statistics. So far we’ve vaccinated around 13.5m, in the current age cohort we expect a higher rate of acceptance, so the actual number will be be quite high when you start to extrapolate.

One percent of the total population dying is, as you rightly state ‘humongous’, when those are excess deaths.
