More great points.
You have me bang to rights.I definitely have a short-ish term view.
In short, it's not about jobs, the economy, Turkey or pretty much every other issue people are talking about, to me it's the long term plan many many years down the line and how we as a species integrates and unifies. Of course that's far to vague to be debated so here we are worrying that we might be voting in the local racist who happens to (in a choice of two options) agree with our vote. Well I like steak and I'll still order the steak if the slobbering retard next to me also orders it.

I think there's a lot of noise around relatively unimportant issues and the waters are fully of mud being flung in all directions and really has been since the start. I don't see the route to a happy integrated planet as being 'owned' by large anachronistic organisations where people feel disconnected. Greece, Ireland and others are only small places but look how this organisation reacted to their "mistakes", people are happy to rally around and help refugees for the most part (and rightly so) but who rallied around to help the peoples of those countries? Nobody, people were made jobless and countries were plunged into huge debt to punish the few people who were really responsible, people who really don't have a nationality, rich, important people and organisations just move leaving the farmers and everyday people to pick up the cost. I'm not saying the same hasn't happened within the UK in regards to the banks etc but this is an organisation of ever more disparate peoples.

And as a result there is overwhelming clamour in Ireland to leave the EU - or perhaps not.In short, it's not about jobs, the economy, Turkey or pretty much every other issue people are talking about, to me it's the long term plan many many years down the line and how we as a species integrates and unifies. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I suspect from other posts you are wanting to leave yet your post above suggests you want to get a more integrated and unified species by splitting away from the EU?lostkiwi said:

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I suspect from other posts you are wanting to leave yet your post above suggests you want to get a more integrated and unified species by splitting away from the EU?The EU is not the only model for creating a closer society it's an authoritarian homologated centralised vision.
There will be better other visions and they'll respect the idea of individual states. I'm all for the world coming together but not using the model of the EU, collaboration and unity doesn't have to come from being forced into a 1 size fits all situation.
Old video but shows you how corrupt the EU is:

Big business have the politicians in their pockets and vice versa.

So the remain campaign always say they want to stay in the EU and, crucially, then reform it from within, as they admit it does not work well as it stands.
So today, juncker says there will be NO renegotiotions, they have given their maximum already, which was nothing.
We all know this anyway, that we will basically be ignored and the political juggernaught will proceed rapidly towards the edge of a cliff. Yet, with this important admission by the EU it appears that the media are barely mentioning it! Wonder why?

No idea why the media would hide it, given that the Mail and Sun are so vocally Brexit. What is this cliff though? (Specifically.)
Genuine question!
By the media I mean the TV, on now. Juncker has said, this afternoon, there will be 'no renegotiations' if we stay in. So no reform of the EU then. You will notice Cameron always says he wants to stay in a 'reformed' EU, that we can change its direction. This has now been laid bare as not possible, the EU will do what it wants. All BBC says is juncker says 'Out is out'. What BBC should be saying is juncker says 'there will be no renegotiation if we stay in'.

And CMD needs to respond in the only way and change sides. That is a direct threat to our choice of future if we stay in the EU.ITP said:

That's it then. Anyone voting Remain now must to realise that the EU in its current form is permanent. If that's what you want vote Remain. If you want to change the EU, even just a little bit, you can't. Vote Leave.

He said he would campaign to remain in a reformed EU. The EU has just said that it won't reform. An man of integrity would follow through with his promise and call for an out vote.

We have a problem Houston. An man of integrity would follow through with his promise and call for an out vote.
Sadly. However the electorate still have the opportunity to send slimy CMD a message.

No renegotiations is our relationship with the EU.
No reform is separate it's the EUs actual content and format.
