Yes I suppose it’s the best the Guardian can do !!!!!cgt2 said:
Widely covered elsewhere too, with quotes from sources inside No.10.
He could have given the Queen covid and some people would blame the Guardian!
Is this at the time when Boris had had covid and virtually nobody had had it more than once, so the chances of him giving it to anyone were perceived as somewhere between nil and zero?He could have given the Queen covid and some people would blame the Guardian!
And when Boris tended to meet the Queen, was it generally in a) a telephone box or b) a room big enough for two rugby teams to 'socially distance'?

The day before he was hospitalised in March 2020. Seldon quoted a quite specific timeline, he wanted to meet the Queen on 26 March when he was already showing symptoms. Which was a line too far for even the sycophants in No.10And when Boris tended to meet the Queen, was it generally in a) a telephone box or b) a room big enough for two rugby teams to 'socially distance'?

Some of them never really seemed to recover.

That article is nearly 2 years old, it must have already been discussed on here many times.
You guys do love living in the past
It was filled out with much more specific detail just recently from people within no.10 in Anthony Seldon's book. You guys do love living in the past
Ironically the person who initially blew the whistle (and apparently talked him out of meeting her) was none other than Mr Barnard Castle himself!

Boris's time in Government has led to some cracking telly dramas
Watched the Theresa v Boris : The Battle to be PM - bit fuzzy version on YouTube: It's an absolute howler very dry in places and you can never quite work out how much of it is pure fiction. The depiction of Gove is hilarious

Saw Brexit the Uncivil War a few months ago with Benedict Cumberbatch as Cummings
Now on This England with a cracking performance by Kenneth Branagh as Boris
