The article says they want to to interview him in the UK - not extradite him.(yet)
Doesn't sound much different to our stance on the woman mentioned above.

Hopefully a decent, general diplomatic discussion will ensue on such topics.

Send over Anne Saculas(sp) and we can send that wind bag. Seems fair to me no?.
I don’t have a dog in this hunt, but I don’t think that
extradition works that way, (and it’s Sacoolas).

He must be sweating over not being able to enjoy a Pizza Express at the moment.

He's saying he's offered to help the DOJ 3 times already.

That's good. So he'll have no problem helping them this time then.

It would seem 'offered' is a stretch. Had his lawyers propose that they vet any questions, could refuse to answer and obtain immunity and absolute confidentiality. Just a theory

The Americans could help sell him the idea of a free trip to the States with the offer of free Pizzas for him and his Security Detail?

The Mirror article is strange. They couldn't interview him in the UK, even with his co-operation, without an MLA if they wanted to use it in evidence in the US. In the UK they can't interview a witness, without their consent. If he is a suspect then there is a different route to follow.

It's not in his interests to go and answer things that will no doubt come back and bite him.

This is brilliant deflection.

Exactly. Forget the U.S. authorities bluster, he's bulletproof.

I wish the UK would grow a pair and say feck off. When a wife of a maybe diplomat can jump on a plane and leave yet we need to send a senior member of the royal family, something is a miss.

I’d prefer if both countries were to do the honourable thing and hand both suspects over.

I don't think anyone has said he's a suspect (For this) he's a potential witness,
