With her history you're a brave man commenting on her attire.

She can get a little "punchy" for a Doctor.

She's a teacher, not a doctor.

I quite like her.

The people on here won't, of course.

Ohh great, ANOTHER Teacher from the Lib Dems.

I suppose those teachers who have matured a little since 6th form and are not screaming leftists have to be Lib Dems then ?

When I've seen or heard her I've quite liked her too.

I tend to think that right now it's a rebuild job almost a bit like Labour.

I doubt she could do worse and realistically I expect it's between her and Ed Davey as nobody has heard of any of their other MPs.

I suspect that was her reaction to someone in her party winning a seat. Happy to be proved wrong because I can’t stand the woman.
It's both- SNP knocked Swinson out of her seat by barely a handful of votes. Must have been tense. I'd like to see ones of the Tories in Bolsover, probably looking at each other in disbelief. laugh

Hopefully not too off-topic but as a contrast this was the Tory acceptance speech when he beat Dennis Skinner in Bolsover.

In an emotional tribute to the veteran, Mr Fletcher said: "Dennis Skinner has served this seat with tremendous distinction. He has been a wonderful constituency MP and he has inspired millions of people.

"I'm very sad he can't be here, because I haven't found a street that I've walked up and down in this constituency where Dennis hasn't helped somebody.

"Dennis, if you're watching, I want you to know the love and affection of the people of Bolsover is very much still with you."

Will she be the LibDem leader for the shortest time ever ? I know it's a crowded race for the title but I've totally forgotten all the others apart from long serving Ashdown and Cable.
Yes
I believe she is the shortest serving party leader of all major political parties

Er - it’s the same thing. And it’s real.
Yeah I read it as one of the SNP beating Swinson,

Would it not be true to think that had the lib dems won the election then old Nichola would have been happy about it due to their stance on Brexit ?

Nope. Sturgeon doesn’t care about Brexit, they only have one real policy.

In fact I’d say the result is the best the SNP could hope for. Now they can whip up anti-Tory nationalistic fever to support their call for another once in a generation referendum.

Teachers that want to teach their chosen subject are great, those that use their position to brainwash kids with their own political opinions are st
