Corbyn's speech. Is there a man that keeps holding up an "Applause" board every few seconds, or are the audience all just on a timer to auto-clap every time he takes a breath.
reminds me of KJU and his cronies on tv. Labour party faithful just need to start publicly crying and holding Corbyn by the arm to complete the effect of being the saviour of us all - The supreme leader can lead this country to victory and enlightenment. (yes Corbyn not Maggie)

Now he has linked the Mexico earthquake with Climate Change. The man is deranged.

That wasn't allowed to be debated at all.

he's right though,

the amount of police that turn up on the streets after the event has reduced somewhat.
And yet the council tax element keeps on going up for less police?

The Trident position on this one then. 'We support Trident'. Followed by "Trident is under review', followed by 'we will let you know'

Besides, they haven't had time to consider Brexit. They've been preoccupied looking the degree to which the UK economy will implode if they got to power.

Sounds nuts but there is a growing body of geological work around the interaction between the effects of climate and earthquakes.

Maybe Dianne Abbott has been doing the maths again.

Has he actually practised this speech as his intonation is all over the place, not actually matching the tone? It's as if he is reading it aloud for the first time. That Trump point just dribbled away to nothing.

ridiculous, earthquakes are driven by subterranean plate movement.

Changes in some localised ground conditions, that leads to worse outcomes could potentially be argued, but in the case of Mexico City their problem comes from the what the city was built on, which is an ancient lake bed that wobbles like a jelly when it is exposed to shocks.

I'm completely baffled by the medias coverage of this "government in waiting" we've just an election they lost and now they are the government in waiting? WTF.....

It's bizarre.

They stand up and tell a room of supporters that they will build everything/raise everything/deal with all injustice and balance the books...it's an utter fantasy and then the media announce they are the government in waiting.
I was thinking the same...Surely the next election isn't till 2022?
Who the hell cares about the Labour party idiots and their 'a bit council' shindig confused
Plus won't there have been a boundary commission re-jig by then?

A link to the theory: https://www.livescience.com/25936-climate theory posits that rapid reductions in glacial coverage would alter pressure on the planetary crust.

The caveat being that it has a 2500 year lead time. Corbyn thinks long term...

So no settled statements on the single market or customs union, just the ' jobs first Brexit ' meaningless stuff ?
The conflict of being seen to be for Brexit, right up until the point he got the leaders job, only to then vote remain must, be confusing for Corbyn.

Speak to scientists at the US geological survey who are researching this.

I thought I heard yesterday that Labour wanted Brexit to go ahead so they can then put plan nationalise everything in place.

Otherwise they would fall foul of the EU no state aid rule.

Something like that anyway...

That's talking about very localised seismic events based around building, which has some logic to it.
