It would be naive in the extreme to think that vaccinations don't cause problems in a minority of cases.

The courts in various countries have upheld that they are responsible for some problems and have paid compensation.

As to the specific vaccination/autism claim, it's a low probability on available research. But it is also true that the medical establishment would take the view that the benefits outweigh the risk and therefore also bias (subconsciously or otherwise) in the 'noble cause'.

Regardless, holding views contrary to the scientific orthodoxy isn't a discredit to anyone, it shows character and a questioning mind.

Some dim people think this means they can smear Trump as a not credible loony conspiracy theorist, but they just make themselves look very desperate.

"In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual." - Galileo
Rubbish. There's massive amounts of evidence based on hundreds of millions vaccinated which shows no link between autism and mmr. Holding a contrary view which could potentially put the lives of many at risk is both dangerous and irresponsible.

There was a piece on NPR this morning about this case. This is the kind of person now being targeted by Trump's stormtroopers. 92% of those detained or deported under Obama had criminal records, now they are just plucking the low hanging fruit.

The wife of the deported restaurateur voted for Trump! "When he said he would deport them all I didn't think he meant us".

Many of us are married to Americans and live here but are not USC's. AreOut is fond of pontificating without knowing what he's talking about. I usually ignore him.

Now that's funny but what is the point in having immigration rules if you don't enforce them. I assume you unrep, like I, jumped through a few hoops to become US resident? Had you not done so you'd expect to have had some serious legal issues right?

This guy is a useful member of society who pays taxes, employs people and contributes. Removing him serves no purpose whatsoever.

Any comments on the revelations today that Mike Flynn, the now former National Security Advisor, was in the payroll of the Turkish government to the tune of half a million dollars?

And the official explanation us that no one, including Trump, knew?

Cognitive dissonance! MSM! Lies! Sad!

Wait for a controversial tweet about something meaningless to distract people. Maybe a claim that he found a Kenyan birth certificate in the white house. Idiot supporters will lap it up. The media will focus on that instead.

The politics of distraction.

And now the Ethics Office wants to investigate the behaviour of Kelly-Ann Conway.

Can this administration do ANYTHING without making an ass of itself?

I agree but what's your point? The law should not be enforced or that it should be changed? Do away with visas? There doesn't seem much point if you're not going to enforce them.

I did see that yesterday but was waiting for more info. He retrospectively put the official paper work in saying he did this but only the other day? Draining the swamp indeed.

Another confident of the President has had a few claims made over connections with wikileaks but that is a muddier connection and one that is denied. His name is roger stone. Quite denying it on brietbart. But cannot find the article now.

Well the one thing it can do efficiently is make an ass of itself. Not sure that's an answer to the question though...

Another major story from last night -

Yesterday, the Trump Administration issued orders forcing 46 Federal Attorneys to resign - all at once.

They had stated earlier in the administration that they wouldn't do this.

Thought that was Sessions? Though probably on orders.

This appears to be the norm, that is changing the guard so to speak but not as quick as this. Reading between the lines, there has been knee jerk reaction possibly to other commentators and internal worry over made up conspiracies. That and one of the Judges has been active in taking on businesses that were a tad shady in their dealings.

It's a little odd... It seems to be normal for a president to change the Attorneys, but not like this. The new one usually is selected and there's a handover period where both work together.
