It's a little odd... It seems to be normal for a president to change the Attorneys, but not like this. The new one usually is selected and there's a handover period where both work together.
What I was reading. Seems that a Fox news mouth piece spouted some stuff and we know Trump is a goggle box fanatic.

Read a news article - issue a Presidential decree.

Is that the way to run a country?

Shia Lebeouf's He Will Not Divide Us campaign isn't going very well. In case you haven't heard of it, it was supposed to film people pledging their opposition to Trump outside a New York museum for the duration of his presidency. But the internet got hold of it and trolled to such a degree that it only lasted a few weeks and Shia got arrested for punching someone. They then moved to a smaller location that turned out to be a crime hotspot, so it became a flag in the middle of a field somewhere.

Except the internet used flight locations and astronomy to find out where it was, steal it and replace it with a Make America Great Again hat. Don't mess with 4chan kids.

Did they use the special edition St Patrick's day MAGA hat? The official one where they used a four leaf clover instead of a shamrock?

Well all it is at the moment is a pole

Probably some way of linking that phallic symbolism to Shia, bit I can't think of it right now

It would be naive in the extreme to think that vaccinations don't cause problems in a minority of cases.

The courts in various countries have upheld that they are responsible for some problems and have paid compensation.

As to the specific vaccination/autism claim, it's a low probability on available research. But it is also true that the medical establishment would take the view that the benefits outweigh the risk and therefore also bias (subconsciously or otherwise) in the 'noble cause'.

Regardless, holding views contrary to the scientific orthodoxy isn't a discredit to anyone, it shows character and a questioning mind.

Some dim people think this means they can smear Trump as a not credible loony conspiracy theorist, but they just make themselves look very desperate.

"In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual." - Galileo
Holding contrary views makes sense when evidence exists to support them - there simply isn't any evidence that vaccines cause autism.

The biggest source quoted by anti-vaxxers is the VAERS database in the US, but that's pretty useless - entries aren't validated by medical professionals and, for a while, it even contained a report that a vaccine turned someone into a spider..
OPINIONS are not FACTS, they simply aren't.

Thing is nobody's "opinion" can be equated to the empirical research that has been done, it's IMO the main reason that Trump is the POTUS, "that experts don't know jack" knowledge is easily acquired and is easily transferable between areas of competence. Brain Surgeons don't necessarily make good public housing managers

Experts exist for a reason, scientific theory has evolved over generations and is constantly self correcting and improving.

In the words of one of my favorite writers

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
― Isaac Asimov

It shows more that everyone these days is a special snowflake, who's half baked views on any subject must be respected and they must be given a prize.

Holding views contrary to the scientific orthodoxy should be earned and backed up by research and knowledge. Those that put forward such views after watching Fox news and maybe spending 10 minutes on Google show a lack of character and a feeble mind.

To be fair to Pruitt he is being mis-reported by journalists who don't seem to understand climate change either. He has said he doesn't think human-made emissions of CO2 the primary contributor to climate change, which every report of the interview I've found has conflated with the idea that CO2 isn't a primary contributor to climate change.

I still think he's wrong, but it would help if the journalism was correct.

Any comments on the revelations today that Mike Flynn, the now former National Security Advisor, was in the payroll of the Turkish government to the tune of half a million dollars?

And the official explanation us that no one, including Trump, knew?
I did see that yesterday but was waiting for more info. He retrospectively put the official paper work in saying he did this but only the other day? Draining the swamp indeed.

Another confident of the President has had a few claims made over connections with wikileaks but that is a muddier connection and one that is denied. His name is roger stone. Quite denying it on brietbart. But cannot find the article now.
Yeah, the only problem is that Elijah Cummings wrote to Pence in November last year about Flynn's lobbying for Turkey but Pence was denying any knowledge as recently as this Thursday!

A special prosecutor needs to be appointed to look into Flynn and into the general area of collusion between the Russian government and the Trump administration.

Roger Stone is pond life.

Likewise Wiki Leaks, Fox's Sean Hannity did an interview with Assange last year when the Potesta emails broke.

Assange stated categorically that the leaks were not coming from Russian hackers.

So I'll plant my flag and say it's the CIA wot dunnit.
Highly likely. I think most of what we are seeing is simply a war within the deep state/intelligence community.

How long will it be before Trump identifies his new* Emmanuel Goldstein? Having cast the so-called Deep State as the bogeyman, he needs a public face to be the focus of his supporters' hate.

* the old one was HRC.
