I thought I heard yesterday that Labour wanted Brexit to go ahead so they can then put plan nationalise everything in place.

Otherwise they would fall foul of the EU no state aid rule.

Something like that anyway...
And the point being, tomorrow you'll hear something else. They are echo chambers to opinion polls.

That's talking about very localised seismic events based around building, which has some logic to it.
Even then, the article content correctly calls it as it is.

So did climate change or reservoirs cause the recent earthquakes in Mexico? “I doubt it,” said Stein. “If there’s a signal there it’s almost impossible to tease out of the process of plate tectonics that really drives those earthquakes.”
As always with this topic, true belief will help the faithful to see what isn't there.

Correct, they did say that.

Brexit allows far more control over what you can do.

The unions were always anti-EU membership until they were sold it as a socialist project, the turning point was when delor's gave a speech to the TUC. http://www.historyandpolicy.org/trade-union-forum/...

Corbyn has always been against it.

The next line really shows that's it's CO2 from cars though...

“We’ve known about those earthquakes on the Mexican coastline for 500 years,” Stein went on. “So that’s business as usual.”

Just read the speech. Couldn't see where he said Mexico was caused by climate change. He mentioned the earthquake and hurricanes in the context of international assistance.

It came across to me that way, but maybe it was his ste delivery that made the link more directly than intended.

In the context of climate change.

"Including those now recovering from hurricane damage in the Caribbean, floods in South Asia and Texas and earthquakes in Mexico.
Our interdependence as a planet could not be more obvious.
The environmental crisis in particular demands a common global response.
That is why President Trump’s threats to withdraw from the Paris Climate Change Treaty are so alarming."

The man is deluded on so many fronts.

Is it really likely that the Labour Party will be outed into power at the next GE, highly unlikely imo. Thinking about that shower being our Government is truely frightening. And to reaffirm I am not a faithful Tory Boy, merely an ex Lib Dem

Yep, Corbyn said pretty much that in an interview earlier in the week.

So have Labour actually worked out their Brexit stance yet ?
That wasn't allowed to be debated at all.
The Trident position on this one then. 'We support Trident'. Followed by "Trident is under review', followed by 'we will let you know'

Besides, they haven't had time to consider Brexit. They've been preoccupied looking the degree to which the UK economy will implode if they got to power.
So no settled statements on the single market or customs union, just the ' jobs first Brexit ' meaningless stuff ?
The conflict of being seen to be for Brexit, right up until the point he got the leaders job, only to then vote remain must, be confusing for Corbyn.
I expect he voted leave.
Nope. He is officially a Remainer and said so yesterday.

I don't believe him.

He does have that bolshy rocking his head whilst forcing his point method of talking, not a good sign from anyone I have ever dealt with when you see that.

What a silly billy that Mr Corbyn is.

"now we know the price of power – it’s about £100m for each Democratic Unionist MP"

Not even close.

The Guardian says that Labour says the total cost of Corbyn's election bribes was precisely £48.6bn. Not enough - Labour lost.

The cost of power must surely include the min £250bn borrowing needed for Labour to nationalise the utilities. Still not enough - Labour lost.

I'm not so much baffled at the media saying it, after all, they're just reporting what Labour Party members and politicians have said.
If that was the case I'd agree, but they're not just reporting it they are repeating it and having discussions on air with commenters as if this was a done deal, like I said it's bizarre as we are 5 years away from an election, reminds me of the Kinnock self anointment but at least there was a general election being held.

Perhaps this is too extreme but I can't for the life of me understand how this man retains a career at the fore-front of UK politics.

How does being a hard-left socialist receive such an easy ride from the press and public of the day? Would he be in the same position if was a hard-right nationalist?

Those images of him giving a speech in front of hammer and sickle flags - replace those with Swastikas and his career is over. Kaput.

What if his best bud and number 2 was secretly filmed pledging his support for the teachings of Mein Kampf rather than Marxism?

Or if instead of claiming property in Kensington should be requisitioned for Grenfall Tower victims, he stated they should be requisitioned from wealthy Jews?

This right-wing Nationalists political career would be over.

Yet his left-wing doppelganger gets paraded and serenaded at Glastonbury, gets constant air-time on the BBC and considers himself on the threshold of Government.

Terrifying!
