Listening to Radio 5

The march has been held at Whitehall and apparently the mood has changed significantly

They've just trashed a bus stop, let a firework off at Police lines and are on top of a Police Van, think it might kick off again in a big way

They're protesting in Newcastle as well. It's already been discussed in the office about wandering along and giving them a kicking.

Do the students look a bit like this?

Speaking of kicking, allegedly the students were trying to boot the blue lights off the top of the paddy wagon.

Protesting in Manchester. Went in for my two hour seminar and was informed that the second hour was cancelled so that people could 'attend the march'. Give me strength. If people want to march and miss lectures, then fine. But don't bloody pander to them and cancel the lectures for those of us who have a grasp of rudimentary economics and want to actually come away from our time at university with a decent degree. FFS.

yes Just watched 'em at it on Sky.

"I know, let's break things, that'll show 'em." said the highly intelligent students who deserve free higher education.

Frankly, any stooodents who have time for this st are not studying hard enough for whatever Mickey Mouse 'qualification' they're planning to take to McDonalds HR.

I just heard on the radio;

"We want an education that not only the well off can have, but that everyone can have!!!!!"

Right, so where does this money to pay for this come from? Chumps. I do hope the Unis put the price up high so that the cretins can't go.

Hopefully the police will be more heavy handed this time and put an end to this, get the water cannons on them with some soapy water!

My Labour-MP Launcher is not finalised yet sadly, it struggles with the Prescott class payload frown

To be honest, the original suggestion of firing soap at the scruffy ghets would work best - a bar of Imperial Leather probably scares them more than a 9mm round.

frown

I also vote for teargas or bullets.. They wouldn't be missed. Maybe it'll make the other uni students appreciate what they're offered.

Rate of fire vs. accuracy? Maybe we could organise a 'demonstration' and compare hehe

105mm White Phos to take out groups, and use a 30mm CIWS to take out the stragglers I think would work quite well

Would these be launched from a Howitzer or are we talking AC-130 circling above?

This way we get 20mm, 40mm & 105mm biggrin

I thought the Howitzers they have stationed in Wellington barracks, but a Spectre up high would work too! biggrin

This is true.. Or next time the cretins start to get loud when they're on their march can we not just send in some army to make them STFU? A gunship above might be abit overkill, though it could easily pick off the ones from the roof tops then aswell.. Hmm.
