Does anybody know what time Salmond is due to give evidence tomorrow?
12.30.Assuming there isn't a mysterious internet outage where he lives.
Should be worth a look.

It's in person I thought? Live on TV as well I think, though not seen official confirmation of that.
Should be worth a look.
The last one I saw, Nicola's "husband", was done remotely.Should be worth a look.
If it's not on telly it should be on the Scottish parliament TV website. I read somewhere that it's scheduled for four hours. I'm going to need extra popcorn.

Anyone know who will take bets on a mysterious technical problem in holyrood around 12;30 today?
All this conspiracy nonsense is just reinforcing Sturgeon’s point yesterday that the entire thing is nothing more than a conspiracy. Whether it’s true or not, that will be the perception amongst the average person.Anyone know who will take bets on a mysterious technical problem in holyrood around 12;30 today?
Doesn’t help when you have the likes of Galloway on your side either

If we had decent politicians in holyrood then we wouldn’t need GallowayDoesn’t help when you have the likes of Galloway on your side either
Who knows
If we had decent politicians in holyrood then wee nickies power trip would of ended YEARS ago
Hell
Folk like me MIGHT even vote to end the union
However as this is nothing more than a unionist conspiracy
How did we get all the evidence that shows queen Nicola in a bad light redacted?

Isn’t ‘decent politicians’ kind of an oxymoron? They don’t exist. Who knows

I’m not saying it’s a conspiracy in either direction. Just saying that some of the nonsense I’ve seen online detracts from the real issue. Seen people actually claiming “those in the know” have confirmed that Salmond disappearing prior to his hearing is a real possibility and again this does not exactly give the side credibility. What next, just throw in accusations that Bill Gates is in on it and that Sturgeon is actually an android designed to destroy the Union?
That’ll get the voters on side!
As much as I’d love to see Sturgeon removed from her post in disgrace, unless Salmond has something more than his transcript, it’s a he said she said and will go nowhere.
I don’t think he’s that stupid not to have more than that up his sleeve, surely.
If he really is grasping at straws I expect he’ll bail on today.

My distrust in the political movement in scotland has got to the point I wouldn’t be overly shocked if Yestapo (formly known as police scotland) found a reason to arrest Salmond

Whatever the consequences for the individuals involved, this whole saga has exposed exactly how inadequate the Scottish Parliament is. Many of us have long despaired at the almost pointless committee system, the politicisation of the civil service and now clearly the politicisation of the legal system.
Sturgeon is fighting for her political life and hilariously burning the house down around her.

It’s tory’s main chance before the election to dent snp. Covid unlikely to be an option. They better make it count. It’s making a lot of noise but can’t see any armour pierced yet. Though polling of DKs and non snp vote does seem dented. But Snp hull is holding firm. Unlikely to be any surprises
In testimony.
And of course it’s all proxy bks. Nobody is under illusions about that. Enough people have stood up for LA now. The conspiracy is no weight outside headlines

The only explanation for the remarkable attempts to sideline any inquiry into Salmond's prosecution must be that Sturgeon has been caught in a lie.
The question is how big is that lie? It could be that a narcissistic belief in infallibility has meant that even the smallest lie must be denied. Or it could be that the lie really is that damaging.
Given the hubris of the individual involved, it would be quite remarkable that any smaller lie wasn't seen for what it is, admitted and ignored.
