5 protesters arrested in an armoured vehicle apparently biggrin
OK you put a great big smiley after that so I'll bite smile

Were they really arrested IN an armoured vehicle (worrying)

Or were they arrested (and placed) in an armoured vehicle (encouraging)

Either way arrested is good biggrin
IN, apparently.

Also a couple done for assaulting police and carrying a knife.

There was a bit of fun outside RBS and ABN Amro earlier - a load of cyclists blocked the road, then a blue armoured personnel carier got stopped. The protestors were dressed as riot police, helmets and all. Looking down from 5th floor, didn't have my camera on me at the time.

They've just gone past our building behind Cannon Street. Looked like more police than crusties. Mostly quite sensible but there were about 10-15 outside of the main pack dressed all in black with hats and face masks on.

I think you'll find it's TOIR.

Dumbing down gone too far I say.

TOIR is the plural of TOR which is the Irish for Bush.....so in essence, they are saying their little tank is full of vegetation.......quite apt really

Predictable I suppose - crusties aren't known for their sharp intellect, otherwise they's be earning a crust rather than wearing it.

Just passed outside tower 42 - about 500 people at the most carrying effigies and a chinese dragon (WTF !?) with an entourage of around 18 meat wagons full of police... all very tame so far ! Was an suited old boy out on the roof opposite looking down in the street in disgust at the peasants biggrin

I don't want to make you look stupid but everyone else seems to know that Toir is Welsh for Riot. wink
