I think the title of this thread should have been, “can the Tory Party revive the Labour Party” and the answer is yes, whilst committing political suicide themselves.

Although I am a bit worried. They couldn’t get much else right over the past 13 years so they might not be able to “unalive” themselves (as seems to be used by Americans and the young these days).

Reminds me of the old joke/insult:
"You are a c##t. A massive and total c##t. You've always been a c##t and will always be a c##t. You are such an enormous c##t, that if there were a world championship for c##ts you'd come second."
"If I'm such a big c##t, why wouldn't I come first?"
"Because you're a c##t."

The Tories are so dreadful at everything they might also be dreadful at destroying themselves. I suspect that some voters will turn out for them as they think no-one else will.

We couldn't even be the most miserable country.

I skimmed it until I got bored. Lots of stuff from unnamed sources, trying to paint her as a scary monster.
About what you'd expect.

No I think it’s going to be an inevitable car crash if she is let loose on the country.

It’ll be amusing to watch though.

Terrifying for them, Labour bringing oiks into the commons. I can hear pearls being clutched up and down the country.

Terrifying for who?
People who read the Mail on Sunday, a newspaper written specifically for the purpose of causing pearls to be clutched.

How reasoned do you think it's going to be?

Besides I reckon you'll have five years to find out all about Rayner soon enough.

Some of it fairly widely reported.....and then there was the multiple sets of Airpods, significant expense claims & now the as yet unexplained CGT issue on top of some really choice remarks that have been made from time to time.

If she was a Tory you'd be calling for her head.

She's street smart but not suitable (or equipped) to be anywhere near the centre of government.
