Watching the programme just now Mr Doppelgänger was certainly introduced, being the first audience questioner, as Eric Holford.
Lives down the road from me, nice chap, I even voted for him.

has Jawknee been banned for suggesting a cull of Conservative voters ?.
This is the true face of the Far left they are nasty bullies and I remember all too well the stranglehold they had on Liverpool all those years ago.
They used bullying and intimidation to great effect and their true colours come out whenever threatened and as they feel under pressure now the nastiness is coming to the surface.

With reference to Jawknee I blame myself
He started to behave differently after I posted a picture in the now deceased Diane Abbot thread and suggested it was Ms Abbot pictured with him.
Some of you may not remember the picture so purely to assist you in your memories I post it here:

( its been repeated more times that some episodes of Top Gear on Dave)
I remember it well Dave, and RIP the original" Dianne thread. I know you're probably missing your pin-up girl, but I see a new thread has been started by Puggit.

As for JK he must be working his ring off leafletting....

Funniest thing that my mate. My lovely wife just commented that if that jacket the flat cap guy is wearing was corduroy it would make the picture compleat. I don't think it is but I did chuckle.

Just catching up with last night's programme, has there ever been a more loaded audience?

The narrative around nurses using food banks is really starting to piss me off. My wife is a nurse, she earns more than I do!

Was the nurse at the food bank not outed a some Marxist agitprop type person who was also being paid by a union?

Or have I misremembered?

There's been plenty of cases of political groups & parties planting people in the audience over the years. But obviously it's only unfair & biased if the Tory party do it.

It's unfair and biased if anybody does it.

It's supposed to be the public asking the questions.

I want the Tories to win - this sort of thing does their cause no good at all.

If QT is supposed to be a mix of people from all walks of society, what is wrong with a councillor or political activist from any party being in the audience?

This latest QT was incredibly left biased, maybe that is the makeup of that particular area that are comfortable to have a voice in public, the less lefty in the area may just be keeping their heads down after the crap they went through during the independence referendum and will make their voice heard in the privacy of the ballot booth.

Whats the political programme on R4 around lunchtimes on Saturday?

They had the Abbotopotamus on. And the audience were whooping and cheering everything she uttered.

It was blatent even from a casual listen of 2-3 mins how biased the audience was. They were even trying to link the hack to underspending in the NHS. rolleyes

Any Questions, repeated from Friday night, followed by the loonyfest that is the Any Answers phone-in.

Why is it the left always seem keen on whooping, cheering and wildly clapping any statement from a left oreiented politician no matter the content? It strikes me they are actually trying to convince themselves and trying to convince others of how good/popular even the most bizarre statements are not by content but by the level of rowdiness!

Point was made on Saturdays Any Questions programme, that the audience for that programme is ' self selecting' and is in no way intended to be representative of the wider populace.
