What do you mean exactly by "equality"?
They've literally said they're doing it to promote racial equality.
We are the UK, not the US. So where is there a lack of racial equality in UK society?
We saw it after the Euro's last year when Sako and other black players were racially abused within moments of losing the game.

I expect you know this happened.
So this is all about football?

It's one example.

Substitute for any example of where a white person does something and gets called whatever and someone else gets called a black or brown whatever.

Again I expect you know this.

Is it just football or not?

You asked where there's a lack of racial equality in UK society.

I've given you examples.

Are you honestly asking that question with a straight face?

Why not educate yourself on that first, then come back (and no, I'm not going to spoonfeed you, spend a few minutes on Google and hopefully your mind might be opened).

This was the statement at the beginning of the season

"Following our club captains' meeting, that collective commitment was reaffirmed and the Premier League will continue to support the players' strong voice on this important issue.

"Racism in any form is unacceptable and No Room For Racism makes our zero-tolerance stance clear. The Premier League will continue to work with our clubs, players and football partners to bring about tangible change to remove inequality from our game."

It's about football's stance against racism.

I've given you examples.
If you truly want racial equality you would support the removing/closing/banning of any organization which references skin colour in its name.

Do you support this?

To summarise, just on this page we've had:

  • Millwall fans aren't racist
  • There's no problem with race equality in the UK
I don't think it's going particularly well for the 'anti's' if that's the calibre of the arguments against.

Oh BigMon, the disdain in your message is so ironic.

Do you agree with removing/closing/banning every organisation with a name referencing skin colour? You know, in the pursuit of racial equality?

Just to clarify, you want racial equality but it's okay to have organisations referencing skin colour?

Are you trolling?

The idea is obviously to get the one group with “skin colour in its name” (that feels left behind) up to the other group before you can actually have the equality.

You asked for examples of racial inequality and you've had them and ignored them.

Once all groups are equal whether it's skin colour or religion or sexuality perhaps the need to refer to those attributes becomes less of a thing.

Like I said stop embarrassing yourself.

So the "idea" is racial discrimination?

I've got 5x guys whinging about racial inequality but they support racial discrimination.

And I'm the troll?

It's not a pick & mix. Either you're against ALL racial discrimination or you support ALL racial discrimination.
