Meanwhile in the Cohen case, the judge has agreed to appoint a Special Master to ensure privileged docs aren't seen by the prosecution. She has nominated her own pick, a former judge not on either side's list of suggested candidates for the role. So the prosecution's own 'taint team' won't be used. This should allay fears of bias when the evidence seized from Cohen is examined. Obviously it won't be good enough for some, after all both Cohen and Trump think they should decide what the prosecution is allowed to see smile
I'm surprised by that, the prosecutors case for using a taint team seemed pretty solid.

Question is, by how much will this delay the case?
Probably the question is, how much have they already downloaded from the electronic devices, just for safe keeping of course wink

Most interesting fact from today’s hearing IMO - FBI imaged 16 (by my count) cell phones and blackberries seized in MC raids. Usually not a good sign when the target appears to have saved old phones and there are that many phones recovered. BIGLY bad...for many.

Who keeps all their old phones and so many? Some were Blackberries, others modern smart phones. Burner phones?
Could be a lot of interesting info on those

He had a pre-arranged interview with Fox. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and a wide range of topics were discussed.

Full interview can be seen here http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/04/26/trump-c...
How do you think he acquitted himself?
Fox cut it short, just as he was about to further incriminate himself about the Moscow hotel/Kompromat. After denying many times previously that he's stayed overnight, so couldn't have met prostitutes, he then admitted on Fox news he's stayed....and they cut short the interview.

As an aside is anyone following twitter?

Kanye, Chance etc???

Its absolutely hilarious. I have started following Kanye because his tweets and the responses are epic.

Basically he has been trolling the F out of people by posting about Trump being his brother and that he loves Trump and also posting pictures of him wearing Maga hats and a signed maga hat.

Anti trumpers and liberals are going utterly nuts.

Today he posted screen shots of a chat he was having with John Legend because was telling him to think again about supporting Trump and so on.

Its possibly the best thing to happen to twitter.
Americans sudden;y caring what a black person thinks? biggrin

It seems that Fox and Friends got a call from Mr Murdoch himself basically saying "Get him the hell off the air". The presenters then told the President, "Mr President, we are running out of time".

That is something that is NEVER done when the President is talking on live TV. The President is always given all the time he wants on TV phone ins. That was even the case when Nixon made a phone call to Armstrong and Aldrin when they were standing on the moon.

It is heartening to know that Donald Trump's biggest enemy is - Donald Trump.

Avenatti wants Trump to talk to Fox and Friends - every day - for as long as he wants.

And of course, because Trump is as thick as a brick, he effectively made sure that one piece of good news for his Administration hardly got any air time - i.e. the successful vetting of Pompeo as Secretary of State.

Trump has a 757, so in your mind he's amazing. I can't get down to that level. Sorry.
In my last company in the broadcast sector, we had our own airline, a 727 cargo aircraft, a lear jet previously owned by the president of Lear with every plush option, and a helicopter. We were seen as hugely successful
When we bought ourselves out from the parent big media company, all that went, we didn't own it, just leased it. It was in our name only.

Trump is very good at getting his name onto things he doesn't actually own. Even Coyfts admiration of all his properties etc, he doesn't own. Many he just 'manages' i.e. leases his name as a marketing exercise. The others he does own were paid for by loans, of which he has many, bigly ones.

Every day at Farnborough there are between 30 and 40 business jets sitting on the airfield - many of them far more modern and sophisticated than Trump's 20 year old 757.

Having a 757 to jet about in would be nice - but it does not rank high if you are playing the "my biz jet is flashier than your biz jet" game.

As discussed here last week he's nowhere near as wealthy as he proclaims.

I read an article regarding his finances and basically it said, he'd be a wealthier man today if he'd just stuck his inheritance in the bank and never entered into business.

Hardly the midas touch, is it...
Absolutely, my point was for people to investigate it themselves - you can go back to the casinos, the NY deals, the tax dodges, the shady lawyers, mob connections etc.

Maybe he's using Rubles instead of Dollars when he says how much he is worth... scratchchin

Hare Psychopath Bingo:

pathological lying
glib and superficial charm
grandiose sense of self
need for stimulation
cunning and manipulative
lack of remorse or guilt
shallow emotional response
callousness and lack of empathy
parasitic lifestyle
poor behavioral controls
sexual promiscuity
early behavior problems
lack of realistic long-term goals
impulsivity
irresponsibility
failure to accept responsibility
many short-term marital relationships
juvenile delinquency
revocation of conditional release*
criminal versatility

For our Pro-Trump participants, the one to note is 'manipulative'; using a glib and superficial charm allied to pathological lying to manipulate people, like yourselves, to their own ends.

Now while many leaders in both industry and politics are somewhere on the scale, Trump is at the pinnacle, like Putin and KJU. If you admire any of these people, you should perhaps look again at that KoolAid bottle before you finish it, because you have been fooled.

If you're impressed by his wealth, I suggest you look at how he got it and wonder how he didn't lose it, despite his numerous bankruptcies.

His biggest triumph was to tap into discontent with the mainstream, a view I have sympathy for and to some extent agree with. But instead of Mr Smith, you got a psychopath who you are so enthralled by that you've lost all sight of what is really going on.
Given all that, it's incredible that the US economy is growing, stocks have had a record run and unemployment is falling. Oh and let's not forget the we might even avoid a nuclear war with North Korea.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
I think you perhaps just enjoy winding people up going by your tone. It's a bit puerile, but a.. I'm sure you don't really think this and b. if you do then enlightenment is so far away you'd need NASA to work out how to get there.

Wouldn't a 757 be a bigger status symbol than something like a G650? For a start it's literally bigger....

He inherited an economy that was growing, trumps not done much to change that apart from giving a huge tax cuts to companies.
Stocks have fallen when he opens his mouth
Unemployment isn't falling, it's still static at 4.1%
South Korea are doing all the negotiating with North Korea

But hey, don't worry about facts

Looks like the story of Broidy paying a Porn Star $1.6million over two years to have an abortion was just him taking one for the team.

It's bigger than most normal biz jets but it is fairly old. However, there are quite a few Airbus A320 based biz jets floating about as well as Boeing 737 biz jets. They are all quite new in comparison and not far off the 757 size wise. The 757 production line was shut down in 2004. - chiefly because the new versions of the 737 were undercutting its sales.

At Farnborough some Arab leaders or members of Arab families arrive in "his and hers" Airbus A320s - which park up side by side for the weekend.

On any given day here at Farnborough, there are usually a few 737/A320 biz jets sitting on the field. The 757 is not a popular choice for biz jet use.

I mostly see all the small personal jets taking off. There's a lot in the hangers.

I can't remember if I got this link from this forum or somewhere else, but basically his Forbes listing might be bogus, since its based mostly on assumptions.

You come across as such a tt.

He has a 757-200. Is that not successful enough for you?

He is a driven goal oriented individual and has been incredibly successful. That is an undeniable fact.

Live with it, suck it up, the man has achieved everything he's ever wanted to.
Would you do business with him?
No, I’m not smart enough. I wouldn’t do business with Bernie Ecclestone either. I like to come out on the right side where possible.
Well, fair play for admitting that! Not many people would admit to being effectively brain dead which is the yardstick for being below Trump laugh

I have an idea for his visit to the UK: nobody go. Nobody go for a look, nobody go to protest. That will be the ultimate insult.

Going along for a look or to protest just means there was a crowd: “the biggest crowd ever to see a US President in the UK”. The fact some were protesting will be “fake news”. They all loved him.

He can’t big up nobody in his mind. It would drive him (more) mental.

Boycott Trump’s visit!
