And round and round it goes as the supporters of post 1 try to keep the focus of attention on the elephant in the room without actually calling it an elephant because "Wacist!" and the supporters of post 2 do their utmost to ensure the attention is kept on anything else but the elephant.
If post 1 ended there it wouldn’t be a problem. There is no denying the gangs existed. There is no denying the authorities failed catastrophically in their duty of care to vunerable children.
The discussion is about whether the perpetrators did it because they were abusers given an opportunity to get away with it or because they were Pakistani Muslims and therefore they’re predisposed to abusing kids. That’s why non-Pakistani Muslims are brought into the discussion as a counterpoint.
White paedophiles on the whole work solo. Pakistani Muslim paedophiles on the whole work in gangs. Bring up the white ones and we’re told we’re not allowed to discuss them on the thread because it’s only for gangs. It’s almost as if the posters care more about the perpetrators than the victims.

This is all chicken and egg. Why do you think posters, including you, want to focus on gangs - don’t give me a contrite answer of “the thread says so”.

Post one doesn't need to end though, most of the discussion following it was about reasons / causes, nothing wrong with that at all.
We all appeared to agree many pages ago that there was a cultural aspect to it, you refer above to Pakistani muslims, which is a huge step from the early posts when Asian and men were offered, people were desperate to say it was just men, but progress has been made.
To look into the reasons as to why this happens should be encouraged, hence the thread should continue.
Bring in non Pakistani Grooming gangs that is perfectly fine, and yes it would show that there are white gangs - which there are, and it is not solely because they are Pakistani / Muslim, but don't bring in individuals to deflect from the thread title.
Every few weeks it blows up again and descends into the you said I said nonsense, and trying to desperately to bring in non gang paedophiles. There are loads of white paedophiles we know that, white people are very good at committing crime.
This is a thread for gangs though, irrespective of colour. Very few have made it about colour, on the accusing side - maybe not the best terminology, those defending have made it about colour.
