I see a new pressure group for a vote on the whatever thingey has been set up

Its headed up by Caroline Lucas, Chukka Ummana and Captain Picard getting lots of publicity
Picard said something about how, if the vote were to go against the motion, we'd stay in the EU by default.

Regardless of whether you're and Inner or an Outer, can't these people see that all they are doing is trying to counter democracy? So this vote could be used to effectively turn around the outcome of the referendum. What next? Keep having repeat general elections every week until we like the result? Replay a football match if we're not happy with who won? Repeat the F1 race if Lewis doesn't win (or, indeed, if he does)? It's pathetic.
It's a London centric/ Media centric anyway. gets acres of coverage yet its nowhere near the top of most people I knows agendas
People I know just get on with life but we seem to have this media obsession with all things Brexit. the relationship between the media and politicians is pretty incestuous anyway. Lots of toing and throwing. One minute your working in the media next your an advisor or an MP etc

I’m not pretending she said anything. You are. And there is nothing to support your claims.
What we know she did say in the past, doesn't support your claims. Simple.
Can see why your a remainer. You like to hear argument, true or false, that supports what you would like to happen and what suits your interests regardless of any facts or evidence that contradict.

A politicians dream; they can feed you st continually and you’ll always find a way to believe them even when the stink is overpowering.

Interesting to note that the poll at the start of this thread has now attracted exactly 1,000 votes - and it's still 51% vs 34% in favour of Leave.
Yes but it doesn't take into account those that have changed their minds since voting biggrin
So you want a Bregret vote on the bregret vote? hehe

Another thread, another poll. All we need now is another petition and we have the hat trick

rolleyes
What we really need is another vote to get this over the line one way or another.
This thread is from back in jan 2018.

I like polls on PH, an absolute mirror of society and so comforting in times of stress to know that the majority are so brimful of common sense. Can we have a capital punishment one next please?
I started this one more than a year ago just to see if anyone had actually changed their mind as the media and PHers kept saying at the time.

I wonder if it’s different now that we’ve seen what a shambles it’s become or has this cemented people’s views even more?

I’m not starting another brexit poll thread though. hehe
