fk public time and money I'm more concerned about victims.

Usually when somebody is in court there is a victim hoping for justice (yes I know if guilty etc etc) its them that dont need messing about by pricks like this thunder.
True, the justice system does not need any rivals in messing about with the real victims hehe

And god knows which member of the asylum thought it a good idea to have 18 year olds on juries in the first place......
Agreed

It's harsh. If someone asked me what the minimum age requirement is for Jury Duty I would NEVER have guessed teenagers were in the mix. Not condoning it, just think the age limit should be raised?

You clearly want to be taken seriously, but have used a question mark when you haven't asked a question. If you had spoken the words, would you have given them an upward inflection at the end of the sentence?

He is a fool, but then it's hardly surprising. His mother does not appear to be married to his father and is considering an appeal against the sentence. It would be a terrible shame if the appeal judge called in sick, wouldn't it? Oh, the irony!!

A comment posed as a question, for the sake of discussion.

I see no reason why 18 year olds should not serve on juries.

He's out now, served 4 days. What was the point in that??
The point made was that he made a fool of the system, the system flexed a muscle to remind him.

The judge was completely correct - how many times do we see posters complaining that sentences are too light? The guy took the piss from the legal system we rely on to keep the country vaguely civilised and that needs halting ASAP. It's a shame he only served 4 days in a YOI. I'd have preferred him to serve 14 days in a real prison.
