Is the hate as strong as it is for Bankers and top bosses of FTSE Companies. Same hate different reasons.

Erm, 'same hate different reasons'. TBF hate is rather to strong a word to use against bankers and FTSE bosses, resentment is more nearer the truth perhaps.

Two totally separate discussions and I see no mileage in attempting to conflate them.

I hate aggressive dogs and emo haircuts but I'm not going to try and shoehorn them into a discussion about Tony Blair.

Which government of the people perpetuated the deregulation of the City and happily surfed on the wave of economic boom saying it was all their doing then denied the crash had anything to do with them?

Yes but Blair seems to get special treatment on here as PH serves as David Cameron's Pravda. Bad Cameron news (which is essentially all news) does get less exposure here.

Anyone would think there's a bias going on.
You've a point...

Bad CMD news = left daughter at pub
Bad B liar news = murdered 100,000 people

...guilty as charged.
I still find it shocking that people can label this as bias.

What a load of st.

But 'B liar' - you've cleverly twisted his name to convey your negative opinion of the man! Impressive!

Jesus.

That's a bit like saying you prefer syphilis to gonorrhea.

I think the Left hate Blair far more than the Right does, and always did. They entered a Faustian pact which meant that they got years of Conservative-Lite before their own man got stuck into really fking up the country.

For me, the worst thing about the Blair government was that "ends justified the means" approach they took to truth and democracy - it was never a matter of "this is what we think, let's have a public/parliamentary debate about it", it was "we know we are right, how can we engineer it so that we win the argument". Prime example being the dodgy dossier.
