Eastern Europeans by any chance??

Yup - I'm not PC.
Odd that crime levels are dropping given that the country is "overrun" by immigrants.
Interesting piece on the BBC news, the police are only giving out cautions when the people should be charged, one way to keep the numbers down and make the public think you are doing a good job I suppose .
The guy they were interviewing had been attacked in his car (totally unprovoked)
and was repeatedly hit about the face, the attacker was caught but let off with a caution.

I live about a mile from the garage, and was up at 0350 when it went off. fk my old boots it made some racket. Drove past the next day and wondered why the garage looked more Sarajevo than Texaco, with forensic plod all over the place.

At school in the 80s, before elf & safety, we used to fill 2-litre plastic bottles with oxy-acetylene mix and set them off in the playing fields (teacher-sanctioned science 'experiment' believe it or not). The bang was sufficient to make you go cross-eyed, and echoed round the houses afterwards.

King Nasties, lol, it's not that bad. The problem is with a small minority of the people that live there and the council estate it's right next to.
