He's actively supporting Brexit and I sincerely hope he takes his gloves off and aggressively supports Leave.EU, Grass Roouts Out etc., come the ramp up to the referendum.
As for J R-M becoming PM...he's simply too bright a light, too intelligent for the average UK voter. They have such low expectations of what the country needs, have such political apathy, that they'll continue voting for the likes of Blair and CMD...the very same CMD who forced out J R-M's sister standing for election because her name has five syllables. I hope J R-M will, like his father, develop in to a highly effective statesmen for the country...at a time when true statesmen are very thin on the ground.
And despite his background he continues to connect with people of all backgrounds...

Definitely the worst kind of imaginable. Last time he was on HIGNFY Victorian Coren Mitchell described herself as being "very attracted to you right now", had me sharpening my guillotine, can you imagine the result of a Mitchell - Coren - Mogg three way'd offspring, "let them eat wit". Absolutely insufferable, come the revolution brothers and sisters they'll be on page 1 of the list.
Either you are trolling/winding up the majority of posters on here, or just the sort described disdainfully as a reason why people of quality but from a certain class won't make it to the highest positions in this land of embittered, envious and entitled cretins.IroningMan said:

She did, indeed. What I find incredulous is that CMD dare to challenge a fellow politician, prospective or not, on their birth name...suggesting she should change her name to Nancy Mogg as he thought it less damaging to him in the 2009-2010 elections, and that he could not accept her anti-EU viewpoint as having vocal anti-EU members would further damage his chances of being elected. Names aside, I'm not certain as to how serious a candidate she was/is. She does not appear to have the same gravitas of her illustrious brother and only lost by 1817 votes to David Heath, but at 44% of the votes she must be doing something right against the well respected Heath.Bring on the clowns said:

Yeah, because we wouldn't want a governmental system which represented the will of the electorate would we? That would never do. Easy solution, send everyone to Eton and give everyone a Bently and a Nanny and then Jacob-Rees Mogg would be the perfect figure head... Job jobbed, as they say.
From his wiki page...
At the 1997 general election, Rees-Mogg was the Tory candidate for the solidly Labour seat of Central Fife and attracted ridicule after canvassing a largely working-class neighbourhood with his nanny;[4] on election night he came third, gaining 9% of the votes cast,[7] slightly fewer than half of the votes won by the previous Conservative candidate in 1992. However, rumours that he had gone around the constituency in a Bentley were described as "scurrilous" ? he insisted it had been a Mercedes.
So the accuracy and/or sense of what he says is secondary to his background, accent and the car he drives (is driven in)? From his wiki page...

This is why this country is totally screwed. People such as yourself are always deriding the "race to the bottom" when it comes to salaries etc, but appear supportive of a race to the bottom when it comes to intellect and common sense.
One begats the other. The sooner people with that view can see that rather than blaming everything else under the sun the better.
You don't have to have attended Eton to understand what he says. You just have to listen beyond his accent and think for yourself. And perhaps put aside other personal prejudice and misguided beliefs.
If you're incapable of that I'd question whether you should be able to vote.

But really, people don't. In the same way as - and this I have exploited to my own benefit as a buyer - most people are incapable of looking past grotty decor and fittings to see the underlying value of the property they are viewing. This is why this country is totally screwed. I have said this for ages and I'm sure I'm right. If you get out of the South East, or the city at the very least, then you will 'get' why people feel disenfranchised and hence how UKIP managed so many surprise votes (if not seats) last year. Whoever exploits that in the right way wins. End of discussion - see The Trump for reference.

Always liked the editing where he just appears with the top hat on. It's also like the episode of the Simpsons where the clock is flicking between lots of different times because of the edit.

It's got to be better to have the country run by people with more rather than less education, more rather than less economic competence, with wisdom rather than naive misguided idealism, and who have a regard for people who pay the tax that's as healthy as their regard for those that it gets spent on.
This is why it'd better for the country with Labour out of office for some time. Not because one or two of their number speak with another type of accent or ride a bike rather than drive a Bentley but because in relative terms they're clueless and driven by outdated dogma with a track record of screwing the country's economy.
