Snap General Election?

Surely if it is an GE announcement then that will then become a proxy EU referendum won't it?
LibDems coming out straight away with a "vote for us and vote for the EU".... with the "leave" vote split between the rest of the parties.... in which it may see a LibDem win ?
As the UK is very much split down the middle on the EU issue, I think a GE would be reckless.

Game theory: Some hardened remainers will vote LibDem thus depriving Labour of some votes. UKIP are weak, thus strengthening Tory vote. Labour will lose even more seats. She will have a huge majority and the opposition in chaos..LibDems coming out straight away with a "vote for us and vote for the EU".... with the "leave" vote split between the rest of the parties.... in which it may see a LibDem win ?
