Only 15mph winds at St Ives, but thats 200 miles from the southern point of Ireland, it looks a lot windier than usual though on Porth beach

Fairly windy in Sneem, Kerry, just had to go and rescue the gas barbecue complete with gas bottle that had blown away, might need it later on to cook some food if the power goes off.

Pretty calm in Plymouth but very eerie yellow sky and warm hot gusts of wind.

It's a bit like that here in Cheshire too. The light has a very odd colour cast to it.

Can definitely see a yellow cast now as mentioned above, also - from offices on Boucher, looking out across the West. Not so much as a leaf rustling.

Just found this,

http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/maps/France.shtml

scroll around and look at the weather and sea state recordings. Not sure there is a UK version

There is! Jesus H, the met office web site can be a pain at times.

https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/marine...

Not plying though, the top link works.

Strange light here in Cheshire, the sun is more of an orange colour than it shows in the photo. Slight wind.

Lots of Saharan sand in the sky is causing the yellow hue.

Talk of a sting jet because there's a clear 'dry zone' on the images. They're not fully understood (great storm 30 years ago was a real wake up call for this feature).

Spooky sky colour here in Bristol, plus cars are covered in yellow dust/sand.
