Assume it is OXR2, his Freelander 2
I hope it doesn't have dark tinted front side glass as that's a nono

Also Giles Brandreth on lbc saying due to his age he may not even have taken a driving test when he started driving.

I hope he and the other travellers are OK.
The news never mentioned travellers?

Did a caravan full of them pull out in front of him?

I expect he swerved to hit a fox, but overdid it a bit.

Nice way to show all the idiots that buy large SUV's to feel safe and secure that they can roll over like this due to the weight being carried so high.
Nice little adventure for the old boy if nobody was hurt.

I don’t think he’s quite old enough for that. Iirc he would’ve had to turn 17 by 1934 to get a licence automatically, but he would’ve turned 17 in 1936 or 1937

Wonder if he was breathalised?
Not taken to hospital, assume to private doctor at home?

Pissed up.
And perhaps given brandy when he got home to steady his nerves...... Just in case.

I would think its routine to get breathalized in this situation though I doubt any coppers want to end their career.
More bother than its worth but would be interesting if the other party were killed.

The Constable's Oath says something about working for the Monarch and their heirs.

Princess Anne got done for for speeding, think this would be a bit different though and the Queen could just tell them to do one.

How unlucky was that? Haven't seen an Uno in the wild this side of the Millennium.

Hope I'm well enough to walk away from crashing my Range Rover when I'm 97.

I don't think anyone should be driving a car after 80 years of age personally..... and why is the Prince driving anyway when he has access to personal drivers?

Plenty of spritely 80 year olds. Retesting maybe, but not an arbitrary age limit.

What about motorcycling? Aged, decrepit motorcyclists are more of a risk to themselves and less of a risk to others?

I was thinking motorcycles without sidecars.
