So Brexit will be good for the UK eh, looks like it will be better for Singapore and the 2% saved will go where......

"Following the move, Dyson will no longer be a British registered company, and Singapore will become its main tax base, where corporate tax rates are 17 per cent compared to the UK’s 19 per cent."

Huge PR blunder by Dyson imo.
rofl

The majority couldnt give a st where anything comes from as long as its better/cheaper/trendier.

Dyson is a sensible chap I'm sure the growth in Asia is much more important than your opinion.

So it’s all about Greed and only 2% at that.... when £9.6bilion in the bank simply will not do.

If it’s not the greed 2% then he is stating that U.K. workers are not as good as Singapore it’s one or the other.

How much Dyson product does he sell to the U.K. v rest of the world?

Why did he champion the U.K. and his investment in the Dyson electric car so the U.K. could lead the way in EV be one of the first movers... then pull out? Something stinks

Unbelievable some people are treating others like idiots and spinning this as good news for the UK. It's anything but.

I’m a leaver and am disgusted by Dysons behaviour - alegidly a leaver himself yet the no deal which he championed is not good enough for him all of a sudden. Maybe this was his plan all along and leverage a No deal outcome to assist.

If you look at most of the major proponents for brexit they have made damn sure the negatives will not impact them at all.

As for their useful idiots that they egged on to vote leave, well they dont give a damn about them.

The £275million being invested in testing facilities and young undergraduates at both
Hullavington and Dyson's university at Malmesbury speak louder imo.

They’re building the EV in Singapore.... but they’ve spent megabucks making their own proving ground and r&d center in the uk. So all the clever stuff will be getting done here in the uk. Then built out in Singapore...presumably access to tech and grease for the wheels helps there. Would have been nice to see it built here also.

Given he Singapore trade deal is on the shelf the U.K. could select it as the route to take - anyone know how it differs to the other deals? Surely it must have financial/services as what else really do Singapore export it’s a finance hub.

Who could have predicted this thread would have attracted the dolt end of the Remain vote to post gibberish ?
