Utterly sublime. Should have been an enormous hit that film.

It it weren't such a low quality it would be an even bigger classic. As it is, for me, the grainy, low-fi picture adds to the overall seediness of the film nicely.
It must be 35 years old, yet it's still brilliant...

The amount of quotes I could recite is unreal...all of them corkers!

At risk of hopeless name dropping. I played bass for this and most of the Comic Strip progs. Ade sold me my first 8 track reel to reel!

Yup. The best comic strip film.

As had been said, a shame he’s gone but a good innings and a great contribution made.

In fairness John Cooper-Clarke has always looked very frail.

If you haven't already seen it (and assuming it's on catch-up) The Incredible Story of Marie Antoinette's Watch
with Nicholas Parsons is as good a doc. as you'll see.
Was repeated last night.
