Voting for 'any' of the current shower of st will just lead to more of the same. A radical shake-up is needed.

I cannot 'not' vote because lives were given for this right.
And because the 'None of the Above' Petition failed (it didn't receive anything like the numbers needed for it to appear on ballot papers) I will therefore (for the first time in my life) be SPOILING mine.
Why?
Because spoilt ballot papers are 'counted'.

Imagine, literally millions of spoilt papers, that would/might wake the fkers up.
Sadly, voter complacency will ensure it won't happen.

None of the main parties deserve my vote. However, I will probably vote for Labour on the basis that they almost certain to get a majority anyway and have the best chance of beating in the incumbent SNP MP in my constituency.

You don't vote for 'the tories', you vote for an indiividual to be your MP.
Or vote for the least-worst option.

Here it's a contest between Conservative and SNP, so Conservative gets my vote.

The fact so many have chosen Conservative is worrying
Why are you worried?

They're not going to win.

Don’t forget if you don’t vote conservative you are getting Lammy as at least Foreign Secretary Angela Rayner as at least Deputy PM and the rest of the front bench in various positions of real power all headed by switcheroo Starmer.

For the same reason lots of people voted Conservative last time (because they are not Corbyn) people should vote Conservative.

Please can you add 'spoiled paper' as a lot of people have said they'll do that. And 'stay at home'.
What is the purpose of a spoiled paper? What does it aim to achieve….I can’t work that out?

I think it's for people who do want to vote and make the effort but don't see someone they want to vote for.

Pretty much what I thought.

The bookies odds are interesting...

ETA I don't gamble, but always interesting to see which way the bookies are going. To the uninitiated, for every £8 you put on a labour win, you get £1 back, should that be the outcome.

I won't be voting SNP
Two reasons firstly that John Swinney looks to have cut himself shaving and if he can't get that right how can he get Scotland right

Liz fking Truss.

The Conservative Party voted for Liz Truss to be the Prime Minister.

Even HM The Queen noped out of that one.

I don't relish Lammy and Rayner in positions of power but the Tories gave us Liz Truss as PM ffs!

Edited to add: beaten to it, damn smile

As I don;t particulatly believe in any of the parties, I will look at the individuals on the ballot paper.
Not really, because in parliament they pretty much just do what the PM tells them, they don't represent you like they're supposed to.

Easy choice here. Very close LibDem SNP marginal. So LibDem it is. With the benefit this time it isn't a vote for Jo Swindon.

I have heard very little of our current MSP. What has been in the news hasn't inspired.

"An SNP MP has apologised after she was heard calling on colleagues to back Patrick Grady after his suspension over inappropriate behaviour."

Have a little sympathy for those in the constituency where Truss is the current MP biggrin

Our vote has no value - MRLP Lord Buckethead or a "big cock and balls" on the ballot paper are the only choice - tactical voting won't work
