So if he arrives at Stansted at 16:10, what sort of time should he be in London? (just wondering if I'll get to see the choppers flying over town).

All this security is crazy, if someone really wanted to, they could just shoot him out of the sky using a decent home made SAM of some kind.
A low frequency laser pen would have the pilot spinning wink

So he doesn't get to see our oustanding M11/M25 road network? Can't we see the 6 o'clock news saying Obama is late for G20 because he's stuck behind two artics overtaking each other, or a member of the middle lane club oblivious to the secret service lining up behind them...

According to the BBC, Air Force 1 has just left the US.

I hacked together this map to show the airspace restrictions (usually, NATS publish maps to accompany the NOTAMS, but on this occasion they don't seem to have been arsed to do so).

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=http://www.plus7mi...

The large square area around Stansted is active from 1900 GMT this evening, so you'd expect he wouldn't be arriving before then...

So he gets Airforce one over here which lands whereever (Stanstead area) then gets into one of 3 identical helicopters (How have these come over here? you can't fly a helicopter over the Atlantic). Then "The Beast" read £200,000 limo takes him around London with 20 other support vehicles. How have they got the beast over here?.

I accidental flew into a no fly zone (not me flying) during the labour conference a few years back - got a warning from ATC - you don't do it twice apparently - LOL

Helicopters, cars etc etc all brought in by USAF heavy lift over the past week or so.

Bit extreme isn't it all? and when he gets to number 10 the poor guy has to endure the fat tounged essex boy who has been drafted in to cook. Thats a sign of the times, couldn't afford a michellin star between them!.

Came past Stansted around midday.

100s and 100s of police, everywhere, rds shut, dont want to think about the cost.

A friend works at the old airport site, they all been given the week off, due to air force one sitting there for a few days .
