Got a link for that?

Bizarre moment of the day.

Just had Labour at my door asking if I will vote labour, I told him I will vote for anyone who scraps ID cards.

I then had the most surreal moment when a Sikh man dressed in full turban, beard to his chest and heavy accent telling me we need ID cards to stop immigrants.

Had SIX letters from Lib Dems today including a postal vote all filled in so I just needed to send it back.

In 2 weeks have had over 20 leaflets from them - rang the campaign office and was basically told they don't care as they'll get enough votes anyhow so mine doesn't matter to them. I just wanted to say, stop these bleeding letters and what a waste of cash it was.

Had the Tory slime bag come round here at the weekend, I was working on one of the bikes. He gave me his election toss leaflet, I didn't utter a word to him, just put the rag straight in the bin whilst he was there. In the interests of balance I'll be doing the same for all the others...

The morons from the main parties standing here have to be seen to be believed, the tory is just a slime ball, the labour bloke can hardly string a sentence together and the Lib/dem girl, literally, looks like she should be in 6th form!

I decided ages ago I'd be spoiling my ballot, but if I hadn't decided already, having seen these 3 I certainly would be now! What a nightmare!

Got canvassed last night by some old bloke from Labour. He looked geniuely puzzled when I laughed in his face and started to shut the door.

I felt a little sorry for him as I assume by his age if he hasn't learned that you can never trust labour with the economy and that the economy pays for everything else, then I can only assume he's got altzheimers.

South Norfolk, safe Tory seat since 1950 according to the BBC. I am in the excellent position of having a long enough drive for none of them to bother coming down it, normally the only letter I get is from the LibDems as they are second here, but haven't had anything from them this year, which is odd considering it number 42 on their importance list (again according to the BBC).

I live in Reading East, so I only need to look at her!

She's more attractive than most political females, including all of the ones in that Daily Mail thread!

Only Labour leaflets addressed directly to us, I think they come in the post.

TBH having someone coiming round to my door would be an annoyance and not really affect my vote at all.

Not yet. I think I'll have to tell the Tory that I would prefer UKIP due to the stupid "green" policies but have no choice but to vote for him to make sure the scum don't stay in power.
Are The Tories next most popular in your constituancy then?

My Labour wannabe MP knocked on my door.

Her "Hello, I'm Jayne, I am standing in the general election for the Labour party. I was just wondering if I can count on your vote?"

Me "Nothing that you could say or do could possibly make me even contemplate voting for Labour. Nothing."

Her "Oh, that's a shame. May I ask why?"

Me "Yes, the fact that my 18 month old daughter and my unborn son have around £22,500 of debt burdened on them by Gordon Brown..."

Her "You can't blame that on Gordon alone..."

Me "Who else was chancellor when the banks were deregulated and the emergency Gold reserves were sold at record low prices?"

Her "Oh. Can I ask who you will be voting for then?"

Me "probably Conservative, but they seem to be doing everything they can to lose the election at the moment."

Her "You do realise that the Conservatives are planning on closing down the town's swimming pool and the sports centre? Will this affect you and your family?"

Me "You seem to be terribly confused between the local Conservative councillors and the Conservative parliamentary candidate. Two different things."

Her "Is there anyone else in the household who might consider voting Labour?"

Me "I sincerly hope not."

Her "Right, goodbye then."

Me "bye, have a nice day."

Not a bad result I thought. The propaganda from Labour that came through the letterbox was all smearing the Tories (of which we have a fairly good Tory MP) with no real policy. I guess that sums up the party.
