William hates Blair (for indiscretions in his book amongst other things), that's supposedly why he isn't invited.
Seems reasonable to me.
How do you know that ? Seems reasonable to me.
If you really think that William chose people on the guest list you are clueless.
It has nothing to do with being a Labour PM.
Major & Thatcher are members of the Order of the Garter.
Major was William & Harry's guardian.
Blair is none of the above.
The current political leaders are there as they are the current government and opposition.

Have you tried a PH or google search?
It was done to death on here last year.
The information is readily available via google or any of the main newspaper sites.

Just as nobody is in London just to see Buck house
Find a Yank or Jap tourist in London, ask them their no 1 tourist destination. Buck Palace is pretty much always the answer.I tried it a few years ago.
Personally Id go for the British Museum and my wife wants us to go for a weekend in London so she can go spend a day in the Natural History Museum, but thats just us.
I'm no fan of Blair but many pro Royal historians like David Starkey admit he did a lot for the Monarchy, at a time where the institution was not as popular as it is today. Politicians from across the board seem to think this decision is a foolish one.
Yes it's not a 'state' wedding as people here have pointed out but if it were truly as private affair then why invite representatives from countries like Zimbabwe, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Swaziland?

Perhaps because they are Ambassadors to the Court of St.James and are traditionally invited to these occasions, unlike former PM's who are not members of the Order of the Garter.Yes it's not a 'state' wedding as people here have pointed out but if it were truly as private affair then why invite representatives from countries like Zimbabwe, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Swaziland?
Personally I think it's a bit pathetic all these people who feel they have an entitlement to attend. The current labour leader got an invite, so what's the problem with not inviting the has-beens? It leaves space for the couple to invite their friends and some ordinary folk who have links with their chosen charities.
It's not like Winky and Bliar are starved of free champagne and canapes as it is.

Blair and Brown should be in the Tower awaiting execution for what they did to the country. A bit of me would like to think that they have not been invited just because Wills thinks they are a couple of s.
They are just a couple of s and it is therefore correct that they have been snubbed.

Bliar is about the most unpopular politician we've had in living memory. Hell, he's about the most unpopular person we've had full stop.It has nothing to do with being a Labour PM.

I suspect the Telegraph blog is only the tip of the iceberg. If the country hates him with the passion it does then why should the Royal family be any different ?

No I think you might find that is Brown. Blair won 3 elections.
Brown will go down in history as the most disliked and disastrous Prime Minister in history.
Which is why Blair jumped ship at the right time as it left Ol'Winky to take the flak, and left Blair in a relatively good light (eventhough I hope to see the grinning crucified one day)Brown will go down in history as the most disliked and disastrous Prime Minister in history.
